Author has written 12 stories for Hetalia - Axis Powers. Hello there, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! Archive of Our Own Account: D3athz_C4lling Age: Too young to marry but too old to be watching Y7 cartoon shows (but I do it anyways XD) Music: Symphonic metal (but some death metal is ok too), alternative, rock, techno, a few oldies and some classical. I also enjoy mainstream songs once in a while. Favorite Bands/Singers: Nightwish, Within Temptation, E Nomine, Apocalyptica, Lordi, Bond, Escala, Alexander Rybak, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, The Birthday Massacre, and others I forget at the moment... Favorite Cartoons: Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Dexter's Laboratory, Codename Kids Next Door, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, Samurai Jack Video Games: Team Fortress 2, Assassin's Creed, Blazblue, Dynasty Warriors, Mortal Kombat, God of War, Tekken, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and too many others Anime: Hetalia, Death Note, Parasyte. I watch others but there are just too many to name. So a little bit about me: from what you can already tell, I'm a lazy good-for-nothing :D One of the reasons why I created an account was just to store all of my works in case my computer breaks unexpectedly and I lose all my data. But the more important reason is because I really want to see my progress (or regression) as a "writer"; so yeah, feel free to laugh at my fail. Q and A: So, what is with all the crappy fics? Simple: I wrote them. XP Okay well, it's because school and the college board don't give out yaoi prompts for me to write...so I really don't have any practice other than outside of school and by myself. And even if out of the classroom, homework always requires me to write standardized papers instead of actual stories. It is therefore that I really am more comfortable with writing persuasive, analytical, and research papers (even though I'm not good at those either). How well do you take criticism? "Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or a stranger." I will admit, it kind of stings when I first receive them, but after pigging out on potato chips and sleeping, I truly consider them and appreciate what others say. So please, don't hesitate to share with me your honest opinions Why are your updates so slow or erratic? I have a half-life (haha, get it, the video game? -shot- My humor sucks!). There are some obligations I have other than parking my ass in front of the computer and writing (unfortunately) such as school work. Additionally, I only write when I have free time and feel motivated; otherwise if I force myself the writing turns out rather mechanical. Do you take requests? I'm sorry, but I don't; the reason being that I'm worried that I'll disappoint the requester. Also, because I'm usually unmotivated and lazy, only God knows when I'll actually be finished with one request. Stories: Cold Hearted Snake: I think there's one word to describe this one: ass-backwards (that is one word right...?). And the reason for that is because Alfred is the smart one in the fic; Arthur being lovesick to the point that he becomes foolish. Honestly...this story came to be one day when I eavesdropped on my relative and heard "landlord...raising my rent..." How my brain connected it all to Hetalia and developed it into a plot such as this one is beyond me... Geek in the Black and White: A crime AU in which the bumbling, idiotic hero we all know and love is replaced with a sly, evil genius...Because really, I find a smart!Alfred downright sexy! Behind These Bars: Sequel to Geek in the Black and White. I'm finally finished with it after a year or two! For some odd reason this one gave me a hard time, I didn't know where to take it after its prequel, and there were many writer's blocks in the way. At first I had a lot of potential ideas for it, but none actually had a good follow-through... Vagabond: Prequel to Geek in the Black and White. It follows the adventures of Officer Kirkland and Alfred F. Jones before the latter got caught. Unfortunately, this is only an idea floating in my head at the moment, please don't hold your breath for it. Rule of Thumb: A sequel to the sequel of Geek in the Black and White. Chronologically, it's the last one to be read. Fanart: I feel so loved when I receive them, and simply must post them here for all to see (that is if you stumble on my profile at all) This one was from the lovely AnayssaLovesU for the fanfic Geek in the Black and White: http:///art/Geek-In-The-Black-and-White-341874385 Random Info: I don't act my age. Even though I'm hungry, I still chew gum because I don't want to waste it...I'm sooo gonna get ulcers in the future... I have a very, very, very, very bad habit of playing with my hair when I'm bored or anxious. I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate...but really, I'll eat whatever kind is given to me. I believe that math is the devil's work because it tortures me in school. Salt and vinegar chips are da bomb. I...love...BACON (especially maple bacon)! I'm scared of big books (there are very few exceptions)...Dr. Seuss books are my favorites. In real life I tend to yell out "Woolay!" whenever something epic happens and get weird looks in return. I'm so indecisive it's not even funny. Thank you again for checking out my sorry excuse for a profile! |
