about the author: shamelessly fascinated by moral ambiguity, anti-heroes and the malfoy. not averse to slash, if well done, and more interested in characterization than anything else. recently has been dragged kicking and screaming into the unknown called real life. updates may be a barrage or few and far between, depending on mercurial writing modes, and that's just about it.

my aim in writing fan-fiction is twofold: to offer new insights into canon and to create stories that are complete in themselves. all of my stories were bookcanon-compliant at time of starting, however canon may have subsequently deviated, and i usually explain in author's notes where i have extended or extrapolated further than the source-text.
