1. superbia (pride)

He could confidently say that he was her first friend, that he was the guy closest to her.

2. acedia (sloth)

He hated the fact that he was wrong. What he hated more was the constant awareness that any moment now, someone could fall for Kuronuma. The mere thought of it made him feel fear and anger simultaneously. Indecision, however, crippled him and doubt took away his courage.

3. luxuria (lust)

Kazehaya doesn't mean to but sometimes he would catch himself staring. At. Her. He silently contemplated her painfully thin wrists, the strands against her nape during the rare times she would put her hair up, and the pale pink of her bottom lip.

4. ira (wrath)

He can't remember the last person that he actually, really wanted to punch in the face before Miura Kento.

For someone who freely shared food with him since middle school, Kazehaya was uncharacteristically forceful about cookies, specifically those made by Kuronuma. He tolerated no begging, stealing or pilfering of anything. Not even the crumbs.

6. invidia (envy)

Kazehaya can't put into words how much he wanted those damned Valentine chocolates.

7. avaritia (greed)

He should be happy for her. Finally, her feelings have gotten through others. But Kazehaya wanted only her smiles for himself.

Note: SALIGIA is the first letters in Latin of the seven deadly sins.
