How'd I get into fanfic you ask?

Well, I've been a closet fan fic reader for some time now. I got into it a couple years ago, after I finished one of the Harry Potter books and I needed more, and the next book wasn't going to be available for like, 2 years or something ridiculous like that. So I stumbled upon checkmated, and it fed my need for more HP.

A while back I kept seeing one of my friends with her nose in a book (she's not much of a reader) and I had to know what she was reading. She told me about some vampire book, and I teased her about it for a few months. Finally, she convinced me to read it. So, I waited until I had a long weekend and I could read it properly. 3 days and 4 books later, I emerged from my room needing food, a hot shower, and more Edward. Thus, I stumbled upon Twilighted and Fan Fiction. I've pretty much been reading fan fiction everyday since.

Quarter Life Crisis

Who am I?? I guess I have a lot to ponder...

Well, I am a twenty-something year old human being. I really enjoy reading- a lot. I tend to fly through books quickly. If I'm really into one, I tend to carry it around with me until I finish it. I've been known to try and drive and read- eep!! (which is not against the law... yet). If I'm honest with myself, I probably read anywhere from 50 to upwards of a 100 books a year. Did I mention I read a lot? I do enjoy such books as Harry Potter and Twilight. Some of my other favorites include: East of Eden by John Steinbeck, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. If you haven't read them- do it, now.

Enough about books...

I am completely obsessed with musicals. I love to frequent the theatre. I would love to be on Broadway, alas, I think it is not my destiny to do so. But that doesn't stop me from learning an entire musical and singing along at the top of my lungs.

Hm... more music you ask? I love classic rock. The Beatles (swoon) are my ultimate favorite. The Who, Rush, Allman Brothers. I also LOVE MUSE (For the record I did before I heard of Stephanie Meyer and the holy church of twilight.)

I play the guitar, keys.. and I'm trying to learn bass, and a bit of the drums. My bro's and I like to jam and do beatles/muse covers.

Inspiration?

I would have to say right now I'm inspired by listening to Radiohead's In Rainbows Album. Also Muse's new Resistance Album. Exogensis is so beautiful to write too. I just loop it around for hours while I composing on the keyboard (qwerty kind- not the black and whites).
