Here's a little story about a story about a squirrel. I once wrote a story about a squirrel. It was long and rambling and extensive and contained far too many repeated synonyms to convey one word, and went on to describe the most inconsequential aspects in most intimate detail, and it was written in a little black notebook in gel pens that alternated color according to whichever one I happened to pick up, and the sentence structure was positively wretched because I had taken to the notion that stringing thoughts together with commas and conjunctions made things more complex and mature. Where was I? Oh yes, it was disjointed. It all went nowhere and it had no point but when I eventually realized how horrible it was and stopped writing, I had come to the important conclusion that
