"I don't know who I am anymore," she chokes. "I used to be someone, I used to make decisions and know what I thought about things, and then somewhere along the line I wasn't someone anymore. Somewhere along the line I stopped existing without you." (A Blue Bird AU. Because sometimes it's not as easy as just getting off a plane and saying you feel the same way.)

The elevator is steadier than she remembers, as though maintenance has finally finished the repairs they promised every year of her time here. When her hand moves to touch the gold cross around her neck, she stops and lowers it. "You never saw it empty," she says. "After they took out all the furniture." (AU oneshot between 6x15 and 6x16.)

"Don't tamper with your tracking device. Don't do anything that could cause us trouble. And keep in mind that the only real way off this island is with us." (AU diverging during My Blue Heaven (6x09).)

"It's nice to see you again," he finally says. She can't speak. Every detail is exactly as she remembers it, down to the wedding ring on his finger. He had to have planned it that way, she thinks, to make her feel like no time has passed. (AU after 6x01 in which Lisbon kills Red John and there are serious ramifications/alternate introduction to The Mentalist 2.0.)

"I have something for you," he says. She laughs. "Didn't you already get me what I wanted as a kid? Years ago?" "Yes." He returns from the back of the trailer. "This is something else, though." (A tag to Black Helicopters (6x13) which then becomes an AU going through Violets (6x16) and a little beyond. Jane finally (sort of) does things right.)
