Current Fanfic project: Just finished Restitution, featuring Boba Fett and an original character! A bit about the story: Boba Fett is a complicated character (or at least I think he should be), so it's took me a while to balance the man behind the Mandalorian armour and his cold, droid-like persona. I have trouble believing he's a totally emotionless mercenary, but I don't want to portray him out of character, either. So, I'm trying to imagine what it would look like if this reticent, self-controlled and proud bounty hunter actually fell in love. Yes, this sounds simple, but there's a lot to explore when you consider Fett an arrogant, but fallible human being, whose misguided sense of self keeps him from knowing what love is. Set somewhere between the original trilogy. I don't like the recent Star Wars incarnations, so I've worked with the mysterious Boba Fett I imagined while growing up, before Lucas decided to unmask him and make him a sad little boy-clone.
