Hi guys!

I'm Carley Idonea... Well not really, it's my online alias which I found on a Random Name Generator back when I was 12 and it has stuck. I think it's rather cool! I'm 23 years old and live in Kent.

The phrase bookworm doesn't even remotely begin to describe me and if I had the choice, I would live in a library. It is my goal to one day live in a place where I can turn a room into a library. I taught myself to read when I was about 5 (I think) and by the time, the rest of my classmates were struggling through Bif, Chip and Kipper, I was sitting in the back of the classroom reading Harry Potter. Cool kid, right? Unfortunately, I tend to be very busy, so I can't spend as much time as I would like ploughing through all the amazing literature that is out there.

But luckily for all of you lovely people, I LOVE LOVE LOVE creative writing (I'm have a degree in it), and fanfiction is something that helps me to unwind as well as let my creative juices flow. I can't ever read a book, watch a movie or sit through a TV show without brainstorming a zillion alternative plot lines and fics. About 3% of all fanfic ideas actually get written down, and an ever smaller fraction of those make it past the "This is a really good idea" phase. For me, writer's block is a MAJOR problem. I have all these awesome ideas which I want to incorporate into my stories but... I have no way of getting there. I love creating OCs and most of my fics will have an OC protagonist. (Fair warning)

My current stories:

All For Nothing (CSI) - Louise Carter

This is one of my favourite fics because it has the potential to go in so many directions and to last well over 100 chapters. I'm currently writing Chapter 11.

A Place For Us (Chronicles of Narnia) - Emma Crowley

I had this idea years ago, before I'd even discovered fanfic and so it's been in the draft stage ever since. This story is still being written, but is on the back burner for now.

Have You Forgotten? (Harry Potter) - Katie Wood

Katie and Fred's story is my favourite to write and is probably the story that I have done the most work on. I have future chapters ready for publication but for the time being, until I have a new wave of inspiration, this story will be on hiatus

I always wondered what they did with twins on the Ark so I figured I'd write my own story.

As I am now on my summer holiday, I will have a lot more time on my hands to focus on my writing, so you will hopefully see more of me. Most of my favourite TV shows are On Hiatus which I find very frustrating, so this is a great time for me to write. I do not have a particularly good track record for updating regularly, but hopefully I can establish some kind of routine.

As far as my fandoms are concerned, I go through phases of obsession. I love all things Harry Potter and that is something that will never EVER change. Joining that list is CSI, NCIS, Game of Thrones, Narnia, Pretty Little Liars, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Holby City, Chicago Franchise,Gilmore Girls, Percy Jackson, Flashforward et cetera et cetera. If I was to list all of my fandoms, we could be here for quite some time. We haven't even gone onto films and music taste yet. For now though, everything important can be found in those 15 seasons of forensics goodness that is CSI (Las Vegas). I think that Crime dramas and novels are really awesome, and if I was any good at science, I could totally see myself as a criminalist... There is still time... I suppose
