ABOUT ME

Well, this is me, I mostly write poetry and my own fantasy novels,

the kind that might get turned into movies and then have fan fics written about them, hopefully.

this is one of my favorite poems, it's a bit of a peek into my world:

Forget about my old name, what it meant was all about my past
I've been trying to run away from it, but I was really holding on to it tightly
As if I were nothing without the pain that made me hide from love, for others, for myself

I can only live in the Now, and know that all that I used to know is untrue
Backing away from traditions and expectations of old and starting new ones
There's nothing I can't accomplish if I at least want it, for once my own happiness

Shining a light on my life will be easier now that I've removed the dark cover
The one that I thought made me stand out in a crowd of bright people, until I looked out
And from underneath it I found a field of shrouds, as if all of us had died inside, trying to be seen

Let's try to all be dreamers, so we won't be trying to hard to stand out
And there's no way all of us could be the same, no one dream is like another
I say this as I throw away my old title of the white and tainted rose, and take on Becky the Dreamer.

MUSIC:

I like just about anything, except polka, offensive rap, and classical opera (although I used to when I was like, four).
