![]() Author has written 10 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Doctor Who, Superboy, Dragon Ball, Smallville, Justice League, and Superman. S-Shield (noun): Writer, artist, philosopher, Bokononist, and living person. A fictioneer from an young age, Mr. Shield's early achievements lay primarily in the medium of "crayola on typing paper." Noted contributions to the field of art included a systematic depiction of every character from Dragon Ball (unfinished), and a series on the various incarnations of the Time Lord known only as "The Doctor," rendered as a character from Futurama (also unfinished). The artist suffers continual bouts of manic depression. During one such "low" period, he convinced himself that he would never make it as a professional artist. During the following "up" period, he then convinced himself that he could just become a writer instead. Noted contributions to the field of literature include forays into the world of Dragon Ball, including two "movie adaptions" and a continuation of the main story called "Dragon Ball Omega," (all finished), as well as frequent (and some say arrogant) attempts to reconcile conflicting historical accounts regarding the childhood of Clark Kent, also known as Superman. In his spare time, Mr. Shield enjoys pondering various methods of time travel, with particular interest paid to "cause vs effect," the mixture of chocolate and peanut butter, and whether or not 26 is too old to run away from home. |
