Hey, has anyone else noticed that in all the big, finale episodes of the new series of Doctor Who, the villains are all classic enemies. Series one - it was the Daleks. Series two - the Cyberman and the Daleks. Series three - the Master. Series 4 - surprise, surprise, the Daleks! Did anyone else pick that up? Or am I just weird?

And, in all the Christmas specials, there is some kind of robot. In the Christmas Invasion there are the robot santas, in the Runaway Bride the robo-santas come back, in Voyage of the Damned, there's the Hosts, and in the Next Doctor there's the Cybermen, though whether you would consider the robots or androids, you can work out for youself.

MY STORIES

I can't help myself...I've thought up a heap of different ideas for stories, and I'm going to have to write them all. I like feedback. It makes me happy. It makes the Doctor happy as well. It gives him something to read during those long lonely nights - and it is also useful for smacking Captain Jack over the head with when Harkness makes any innuendo-based comments.

The Darkness Beneath
The Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness go on a holiday to the planet Sydoriv, but it goes horribly wrong when members of their tour group start to die after an encounter with one of the Doctor's old enemies. Can Jack and the Doctor convince the tour group of their innocence, and defeat the monster? A sort of prelude to my series in which we meet Brittany Harvey. Not actually required reading, but the series will make a bit more sense if Darkness Beneath is read first. COMPLETE

Shades stalk through a 38th century city, and Brittany Harvey meets an old friend and is given a second chance at life. COMPLETE

Episode 2 - Snowglobe
The Doctor takes Brittany on her first official TARDIS trip to 21st century London. However, they get caught up in a set of mysterious disappearances, UNIT investigations, and Torchwood snoopings. And there is something strange about the snowglobes... COMPLETE

Episode 3 - Forest of Shadows
The Doctor, Brittany Harvey and good ol' cap'n Jack get stranded in the middle of Wales, but not all is as it seems. Between a mysterious illness and contact with the locals, the TARDIS crew have to contend with an old friend...or rather, enemy. COMPLETE

Episode 4 - Sky Riders
The TARDIS goes off-course, and the Doctor and Brittany find themselves on the planet Messaline. They are seperated, and must fight for survival in the middle of a war. But who are the mysterious Sky Riders? What is the purpose of the war? Where do the missing people go? And, most importantly, will they get out in one piece? COMPLETE

Episode 5 - Thoraln Conspiracy
The second part of "Sky Riders". The Sky Riders are revealed as Thoraln, but still more questions remain. What does the Thoraln's mysterious "Golden One" have to do with the war on Messaline? And how are the Doctor and Brittany going to stop a war that threatens not only their own lives, but millions of innocent people? COMPLETE

Episode 5.5 - Sub-Zero
A Doctor Who comic I'm posting on devaintART. Directly after the events of Thoraln Conspiracy, the Doctor and Brittany fly off-course (again), and land on an ice-planet. However, not all is as it seems. Something is awakening beneath the ice, and one of the characters has a dark secret to hide...IN PROGRESS. Actually, I only did about the first two pages, before deciding that a) I can't draw the Doctor in cartoon form for crap, and b) I just don't have the time. Maybe I'll turn it into a story at some point. Maybe not. Who knows?

Episode 6 - Fractured Glass
Sam Taylor - ordinary university student from Auckland, New Zealand. Ordinary, that is, except for the alien monsters that keep stalking him. His only hope lies with a man he's never met, a man who calls himself 'the Doctor'. The question is - can the Doctor and Brittany save Sam from his monsters? COMPLETE

Episode 7 - Climate Change
Sam gets taken on his first TARDIS trip to the distant world of Arktaurus, but as per tradition, things do not go quite to plan. Very soon, the new TARDIS team is dealing with an intergalactic conspiracy to change the climate of a primitive planet. The only question is, can they stop the global warming? IN PROGRESS

The Doctor loses his Zeus plugs (again) and embarks on a search to fnd them. Will he ever find them? What happens if he does? What does he need them for? And is Sarah-Jane Smith not a morning person? Cheese
This is a Doctor Who story that I co-wrote with my buddy 'w1nter', and it is posted on her account, but here's a link for quick access. It was a lot of fun to write, and a lot different to anything I'd done before. Basically, it involves the Doctor and Martha landing the TARDIS in Cardiff for a day to recharge the engines - if you want to know what cheese has to do with it, you'll have to read and find out. Curriculum Vitae: Not Applicable - a fic written for all you people wondering what happened to Sandra Smith from 'Forest of Shadows'. Suffice to say, there'll be monsters aplenty, Torchwood doing what they do best (whether this be fighting aliens or making trouble, I am yet to work out), Sandra Smith and a different side of Ianto that no one will have ever seen before. First chapter written, but it'll be a while before I get around to uploading. Want to get it at least half done!

Admire the Butterflies - Tenth Doctor and Captain Jack find out what happens if you step on a butterfly. Kind of inspired by the comment Martha made in 'The Shakespeare Code', "You step on a butterfly, you change the future of the human race." And just from that, you can tell that something bad is going to happen.

Quetzal - A Torchwood story I want to write. Will probably get published if I ever finish Faceless, so there's probably a long wait there. Basically, it involves the Torchwood team investigating a piece of rift junk nicknamed the 'Thunderstone' (or Glowing Blue Boulder of Ultimate Death and Destruction - thanks Owen), but when they discover what WAS inside it, things start to go from bad to worse to 'oh crap' really fast. A new serial killer on the loose just compunds the terrible troubles of Torchwood. Like the sound of it? Couldn't care less? Give me a shout, and tell me what you think.

The First to Fall - Hey, another Torchwood story, only a oneshot, must get around to writing it, but it will involve copious amounts of coffee, King Ianto and his regime, and the mystery of the disappearing Owen. All in the one chapter!

Ni'Awve Contact - A joint AVATAR! fanfic that me and Auindel are planning on writing. We're only in the planning stage right now, but as soon as we get the plot down on paper, we'll be ready to start putting up chapters for your viewing pleasure. Going to posted on my profile, jus 'cos we thought more people would hear about it that way. Or something. I dunno. Will star many original characters - in fact, it's set before the movie or the game sooo... actually, that's all I'm letting on. You'll just have to wait to find out what happens, won't you?

I'm sorry to all those people reading The Real Vampires and Shadows of the Empire. I'm just not writing them, but at some time in the future, I may pick them up again, but don't hold your breath. I have a copy saved on my computer and if i get enough people wanting them re-posted...I will...but I might not be able to write more chapters.
