Hey all, I guess I should update this considering I'm actually doing Authory stuff now days. Still can't believe I just woke up one day and started writing as if it was second nature. Weird...

Anyway I'll tell you some of my likes and dislikes ala Kakashi style from Naruto.

I like a lot of things which include:

Well written fiction (don't we all).

Anime (Fate Stay night, Naruto, Bleach etc i could go on lol lets just say lots)

Games (Dragon age, Mass effect, mostly just rpgs)

I like archery :p and I do actually do the sport from time to time.

I hate it when:

Authors try to do to much in too little time. Everything needs a foundation if you start rushing you suddenly write yourself into a corner which you cant wiggle out of. That's why I'm tolerant of slow moving fics because at least I know the Author suddenly won't stand up with his hands saying "I fked up" and leave us all hanging forever.

Another thing I hate in fanfiction is Harem its great as a comical tool where the main character is totally clueless but if they are well aware of it it just comes off as creepy in a kind of baseball card collection level of creepy. Its kinda like "Give me all the sexy girls" for no other reason than they are "sexy". I hate shallow fics like that and I can't stand reading them.

I've also found that Harem can be the death knell of a fic, because of one simple reason:

ITS TOO BLOOMING HARD TO WRITE!

The interaction between just TWO people whether they be hetero or same sex is hard enough as it is to get right. Trying to expand that to 4 or 5 people??? Are you crazy? My head would explode from the stress and I would book a flight to Bermuda in the hopes that I would get lost in the fabled triangle just to avoid facing the horror of trying to keep it straight in my head!

I know that Harem is more popular than god on this site but I have honestly never seen a completed harem story that was actually good and not just porn with a subtext story.

If there is one out there I salute that author of godlike brain capacity and patience.
