![]() Author has written 3 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender. Gender: Male Age: I forget Location: Right across from Fermi Lab. Cause I'm just that awesome. (Like seriously, I live right across the street from Fermi Lab). Ok, on the off chance anyone's actually reading this, here's why this chapter (41-8/5/2012) has taken as frikin' long as it has. There's two major reasons really, and there are as; A) I got a job offer from a freind of mine that required me to learn roughly 2 years worth of AutoCad (and architectural program) in about 4 months. Needless to say, my time was somewhat taken up by that. B) This one was probably even more an issue. I've been playing around with ideas for a sci-fi novel for a while. Even before I started doing this fanfic. Recently, not only have those ideas started to cement themselves in my head, but since I've been writing this story my confidence in being able to produce that story has solidified to the extent that I could no longer ignore the possibility of actually getting something published. With that larva of a thought squirming in my mind, I started exploring the world, plot, characters, and conflicts I've been teasing at for so long but have never developed. Once O started to delve into that, it very much deferred my creative energies so much so that when, while concentrating on this other, original universe I was trying to create, made coming back to this particular fanfic very difficult. So I concentrated my efforts on that. But... I never lost scope of finishing this story. I do really want to get this done. After the effort and time I've put into, I just can't leave it unfinished. So, I took a break, filled up about two notebooks worth of notes, characters, plot points, worlds, and what-have-you for the original science fiction story I will one day try to publish, and once I felt I'd blown my load of creative... wait there's gotta be a better analogy for that. Well, whatever, you get my point. I got the initial creative surge on paper for what was distracting me, (among other things... money is stupid) and now I'm back to finish this with nothing barring the way! |
