Author has written 7 stories for Legend of Zelda, Digimon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Jet Force Gemini, NiGHTS, Shining Force, and Final Destination. Hiyoh, everyone. Nex the Slayer here. I have a propensity for thinking of odd, fictional stories for fictional novels, as well as stories that branch off of a particular TV or Book series. Unfortunately, I have a huge procrastination problem. I've joined Fanfiction.net in an attempt to create, write, and finish my stories! I may even venture to put my non-series fiction works in the miscellaneous section... I have SEVEN stories online now! Finally my portfolio is starting to take off! Unfortunately, I only have a few chapters for each... The Legend of Zelda: The Shards of Time Anyone who follows the Zelda series knows that the series never really ends. It cycles. Ganondorf keeps being reborn, and Link and Zelda's descendants always defeat him again. This story is a proposed FINALE to the Zelda series, where Link, Zelda, and a few friends (OCs) go a quest to cut Ganon (Prince of Darkness) off of from his Servant, Ganondorf. That way Ganondorf will STAY DEAD. (It took me and a friend three hours to come up with the timeline and plot!) Sonic the Hedgehog: Angel Island Chronicles I have discontinued my Angel Island Chronicles Story. The story was more of a movie inside my head, and I'd like it to stay that way until such time as I can put it into movie form for an audience to enjoy. It wasn't transitioning into written format very well, anyways. By the way! IMPORTANT! If anyone is a fan of the original "Sonic 3 and Knuckles" video game, they should check out "PROJECT CHAOS" a music project of the game! Google it! My favorite track is "Breathtaking Vision"... Sky Sactuary Zone RULES! Digimon Origins: The Digital World is Born A group of scientists design and create the first bio-info-transfer network, a highly efficient mode of data transportation that stores information in digitally based living organisms. This network, dubbed the "Digital World", is supposed to bring humankind into the next age of communication; but when a super-virus is planted inside the programing, the Digital World threatens to throw the Real World into the dark ages! The government shuts down the network, and deletes all the files. Or so they think... Seven years later, who will stop the threat from the Digital World? This story explains the origins of the Digital World, the Virus-type Digimon, the first Digidestined, Gennai's involvement, the first Digimon... well, pretty much the first everything! On hiatus for research. Genesis: Shadow's Origins If Sonic and his friends are from Mobius, how did Black Doom and the Professor know about the Chaos Emeralds?! In SA2B and StH, Synthetic Chaos were enemies that had to be fought. How did the Professor create THAT?! And if Professor Gerald is Doctor Eggman's grandfather, how did he end up on Mobius?! This is a back story that tells how these events came to pass, and how two worlds became irreversibly entwined. I will be focusing mainly on this story, since I've received so much positive feedback. Jet Force Gemini: Remnants Another Fanfic is born! This time, it's Jet Force Gemini, arguably one of the greatest Sci Fi games ever created! This game is what introduced me to Science Fiction, big guns, and enemies with detachable extremities (and green blood FTW)! Mizar is long gone, and peace has been restored. That's definitely a good thing, but even with no enemies to fight, a low public opinion, and a newly rebuilt and fully functional Jet Force Corps, the Gemini team is feeling antsy. When the team begs their commanding officer for a mission, they get much more than they bargained for. After an attempt on their lives on a routine mission, the team finds themselves stranded and surrounded by the Drone army! The Drones have begun to organize again, and rumors are spreading of long deserted Drone ships floating through space. Barry pleads his innocence, and Jeff vouches for him, but if Barry isn't behind all this, who is? The Gemini's adventure will take them across the galaxy to meet new friends, challenge new threats, and unearth a terrifying secret from the galaxy's past that could annihilate them all. NiGHTS: Dreams of Another Sally has nothing going for her. Her family's a wreck, her grades are failing, and no one at school really understands her. She doesn't mind, though, as long as she has her music. Sally's dream is to become a composer, and share her music with the world. When Sally's music is stolen in the real world, she finds herself trapped deep in the realm of Nightmare, with her last and most powerful remaining Ideya, the Ideya of Hope, stolen as well. She is saved by NiGHTS and a young man named Timothy, and soon wakes in the real world again. Unaware of her adventure at first, Sally starts feeling waves of dejavu throughout the day as bits of her dream begin to come back to her. Upon her return to Nightopia that night, she finds that NiGHTS has been ambushed and imprisoned, and that Timothy himself has been abducted. Despite not having any Ideya of her own, NiGHTS convinces Sally to help save Timothy. But can Sally really help save Timothy when she lacks the one rare trait that serves as the Nightmaren's weakness? How can she find the courage to fight for another's dreams when she has none of her own? Final Destination: Game of Fate When an assorted group of tourists avoids a terrible death due to the premonition of a young military man named Adam, the troupe soon discovers that Fate is following them, to grant them the death they skipped out on. Each individual scrambles to protect themselves, struggling to interpret Adam's visions while facing their own inner demons and questions as to whether victory in this game of high stakes is even a possibility. Adam doesn't just want to avoid death, he wants to live life. As the people around him succumb to the helplessness of their predicament, Adam searches for an answer. Not for a way to escape his death, but a way to change his fate. His and his friends' journey will bring them face to face with gruesome deaths, narrow escapes, and shocking revelations. It becomes clear that the only way out is to move forward. Or die trying. Shining Force: Modern Darkness (name subject to change) Centuries after Darksol's defeat, a modern day excavation of an Ancient's tomb opens a portal to the netherworld, and paves the way for the Master Wizard to resurrect himself. Darksol wastes no time in raising an army of monsters and demons using his magic. Within months, the nations of the world succumb to his power, and the world of the future is thrust into darkness. Twenty years later, society continues in hiding from Darksol's forces. Marla has been training her entire life to combat evil, and waits for the day a Hero will ride through her town, sweep her off her feet, and destroy Darksol. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when a monster attack ravages her village. After saving the life of a common traveling herbalist named Daren in the ruins of her home, Marla finds herself outnumbered and outmatched. They are saved in the nick of time, though, by Silas: a charismatic leader of a small fighting force with one mission in mind. Destroy Darksol. Impressed with her skill, the Force asks her to join immediately, an offer Marla jumps to accept, enjoying to prospect of getting closer to Silas. Wishing to repay the debt of saving his life, Daren opts to join as well, despite having no weapons training or experience. Their adventure will show them the depths of true friendship, and show the world what real heroes are made of. The following story summaries haven't been fleshed out yet. I'm hesitant to even start them, since I'm having so much trouble finishing what I have online already. If you see something you like, let me know; I may decide to take a break from one of my current stories to take a crack at a fresh idea. If all goes well, and the stories I have up NOW ever finish, these will be the next projects I start. Prologue: Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic didn't always run towards danger. When strange machines invade Sonic's peaceful town, leaving him to fend for himself, Sonic is recruited by the freedom fighters: a group set on overthrowing this new threat. Impressed by his natural abilities, strict training is undergone to improve and strengthen Sonic into the ultimate secret weapon against their foe. Sonic, however, doesn't agree with this plan at all. He's afraid of dangerous situations, and finds himself unable to cope with his failure to protect his family and friends, causing his training to suffer as a result. The Freedom Fighters can't wait for Sonic to become the perfect weapon, especially not in his current state. Eggman is on the move, and someone doesn't rise to the challenge, whatever chance they had will be completely lost. Where is Carmen Sandiego? Following in his deceased father's footsteps, James joins Interpol, an international police force that catches criminals across the globe, hoping to become a great officer like his father was. His job description has him doing little more than pushing papers, though. When Carmen Sandiego re-appears nearly twenty years after going dark, James is immediately placed on the case, despite no prior detective experience. Fueled by the prospect of placing his father's murderer behind bars, James accepts, and makes impressive strides in cornering the villain. However, as more clues fall into place, James finds himself at a loss of who to believe. Did Carmen really kill his father? What is Carmen really after? On the way, Simone and her Pokemon are kidnapped by none other than Team Rocket. Without a Pokemon, and on his own, Nate struggles to evade capture while trailing the nefarious villains, hoping to inform authorities of the situation. Soon, Nate finds himself being drawn into a plot to use a bio-reverse-engineered Poke-Virus to spawn a race of Legendary Pokemon to take over the entire world. Thrust into the fray, the four brothers fight through the chaos while trying to uncover the purpose and the person behind this incident. The truth shocks the brothers to their core, and they quickly discover that this may be one fight that not everyone will come back from. All stories are in progress, even if it doesn't seem like it. Writing them is tedious, but I'm determined to finish them. There's a link to them below... There are a few basic rules I try to stick too when writing my stories. I appreciate any comments made on my stories, and I will always take them into consideration, but don't expect me to change what I've written just because you don't like what I did with the story line. If someone makes a valid point, I'll think about it. Also, if you see any typos, please inform me of the page and the paragraph so I can fix it. :–D I branch out a lot, so if you visit a website, forum, or even Newgrounds, just do a search for "Nex the Slayer" and I'll probably pop up (I like consistency). Also, I'm venturing into the world of MUSIIIIIIIIC. If you are interested and want to show support, look me up on Youtube. Some notable entries include "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego" and "Triple the Corners @140 BPM". |
