Full Penname: Ami the Queen of the Evil Flying Monkeys

As you can see by looking at the dates on my fics, I haven't been in the fanfiction business for quite a while. I have a few half-finished works in the wings, but it looks doubtful that I'll ever finish them (college is kind of overwhelming me with work at the moment). I know everyone is so sad to see me go (ha.. I'm a moldy oldie, and not even a well-known one at that). I was one of the original members of the DSE (proof of my moldy oldie status), which was an organization of authors (formerly on FFN, now we've pretty much left FFN) started by Emmy, penname chix. I keep these fics up as a reminder of something I once enjoyed and how much I have improved as a writer (reading most of this makes me cringe, but I try to learn from past mistakes). I wrote most of these when I was about 14 years old. I'm currently 19 and a freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill (go tar heels!). I'm pursuing a master's in English with a minor in Classics and/or Creative Writing, and after I get through my first five years here I'll start my doctorate work (yes, I'm entirely serious) and hopefully obtain a teaching assistant position. After that I plan to ascend the great university teaching hierarchy and one day land a professorship. Oh yeah, I'm just a little ambitious, by the way. I guess I'm kind of a Ravenclaw/Slytherin mix or something...
