I love Batman.

He has no powers what so ever. He's a billionaire, and doesn't have to work a day in his life if he so chooses to. But he doesn't. Instead of getting by on his looks or wealth, he instead chooses to go out and put his life on the line for the greater good. That, in my mind, makes him one of the greatest heroes of all time. He has no powers, but he knows practically every martial arts, can fight with every weapon both modern and non, except guns because he's awesome like that, he has the Batmobile, the Batcave, and hell, only he could have so many things with 'bat' in them, yet manage to kick so much ass. I am quite confident he would be able to take Superman on in a fight. And win. And he's able to dress like a giant bat and NOT look stupid.

And even though I'm about as straight as a circle, he will ALWAYS have a place in my fan-girl heart. nod nod

Which brings me to my next point.

I.Hate.Superman.

I just DO. My gods he is like THE most annoying Mary-Jane type character of all time. Looks like a god, has powers like a god, friendly and cheerful, the crowds love him, the police love him, everyone freaking loves him. And he honestly believes he's fooling anyone with those stupid glasses? I mean COME ON people. Oh and there's this awesome website, you'll have to google it, called and it shows just how much of an arse Superman really is.

I also hate Lex Luthor. He just plain SUCKS. I hate the way he thinks. I just do. I hate all of Superman's villains, come to think of it. Instead of making something original or interesting, what do they do? Pull out the Kryptonite. Every.Freaking.Time. And, Yeah, I know, if it aint broke don't fix it, but in all honestly folks, with all the times they go pulling out the Kryptonite-- how come they haven't started to run out of it? Just how much Kryptonite does earth HOLD?!

Lois Lane SUCKS. She just does. She's a bitch to Clark Kent and needs to learn to keep her nose of of other's business. You know, in the Superman/Batman animated movie, after she finds out Bruce Wayne is really Batman, she's all 'I adore you Bruce, but there's a lot about you that I don't know, and I'm not sure I want to know.'.

Sure, I died a little inside when I saw Bruce take an interest in Lois, and I'm partially convinced that it was just to make Clark jealous, but DAMNIT Lois, how freaking...MEHISH can you get? Yes. Mehish. Because I'm not sure if what she did classifies as shallow. Does it? I'll have to look it up later. And another thing, she keeps getting kidnapped. My god. If I was Superman--well okay, :snickers: I would never BE Superman, because well frankly I have more brains and fashion sense then he does but, for the sake of the argument, let's just pretend-- after about the FIFTIETH time I had to rescue her ass, I'd just throw up my hands and be like 'YOU KNOW WHAT?! I QUIT! YOU WIN LUTHOR! Blow her FREAKING brains out, I DON'T CARE. Because evidently, SOMEONE just doesn't know when to STAY OUT OF IT. JEEZE.'. Yes, the people have a right to know. But you ALSO have the right to not be kidnapped on a weekly bases.

Joker rules. He is the most awesome and original character of all time. He fits right in with the Batman, and he has the perfect laugh. And smile. And skin. And hair. And I think he'd agree.

What I'm about to say next might shock some of you.

I don't like Harley.

Never have. I think she's incredibly dense for staying with Joker when he obviously doesn't care for her, but Ivy is like smoking hot, and obviously at least Bi-curious, but instead of going with the smexy interested red-head, she sticks around with the insane Joker. I love Joker, but I would never ever work for him. Nah uh. I wanna live dangit!

J'onn J'onzz kicks freaking ass. I love him. He is just so cute and huggables and I swear if I could spend just one hour in the comic-verse without dying, I'm going to spend thirty of it just oogling at the Batman and the next thirty minutes hugging J'onn. In fact, I'm currently rehearsing a well-thought out speech that will convince Batman to stand in front of me while I hug J'onn in the event that something like that actually does manage to happen. Just imagine it. Being able to hug J'onn and oogle at the Batman for a full forty-five minutes. (because I'm sure the speech will take about fifteen minutes by the time I'm done with it..) Oh yes. I will be able to die happy when and if that happens.

And he loves Chocos (oreos). Who doesn't love Chocos?!

He just rules.

So one day I was just going on one of my internal rants with one of the voices in my head, and it hit me. Batman rules. J'onn rules. So if you put them together, you get like a load of pwnage. Along with both physical sex and mind sex. Which is like double the bonus. And that's how I became a solid J'onn/Batman shipper.

Only, there's not a lot of stories on the pairing out there. Sooo I've decided to fix that.

Hence my 'mates' series. Oh yes, SERIES. It will be a SERIES. Hopefully it'll help others realize just how awesome they are together, and encourage them to write their own stories about them.

However, even though I hate Superman, I won't character bash him, if that's what you're afraid of. I hate the way he's portrayed in the comics, cartoons and movies but...

:Sigh: I do realize that he isn't evil, he actually has good intentions. He's just dense. And gullible. And idealistic. And annoyingly cheerful. And predictable. And...

:sobs: I hate him so much. :coughs: But...I won't character bash him. Oh no. I am above that. However...

I am NOT above torturing him. xD and torture I shall. Bwahahahahaaaa...

Is Superman gay? Oh he's ecstatic. xD Nah, just kidding. Um...I dunno. I don't want to call him gay, because well damnit I don't want him to be associated with us gays. We have enough problems as it is, we do NOT need Superman adding to them. But... :sigh: I think he is. XD remember the pink Kryptonite? And how he started complimenting Jimmy? Psh, they try to play it off as a joke but oh I know the truth. o.o and so does everyone else.

Batman? Is he gay? No. I don't picture him as being gay. Batman, in my mind, is the type of person who'll fuck whoever the hell he wants to fuck, regardless of race, gender or species. If you don't like it, tough. Cause he's the goddamn Batman and he does what he wants --so long as no one tells Alfred. xD

Joker's obviously gay for Batman. Oh yes. It's mentioned several times in the comics. I used to love Joker/Batman with a passion, but then my love for Batman grew (didn't know it was possible but it did) and before I knew it I was like an overprotective parent, ranting about how Joker wasn't NEARLY good enough for Batman.

Batman is like all that is awesome in the universe, and the BEST we can give him is Joker? REALLY? A homicidal psychopathic clown? I think Batman deserves waayyy better than Joker. Which like occurred to me overnight, like no lie. Like the only time I can read Batman/Joker, is if I want some kink, but that's about it...

J'onn, well I don't think he really cares at all about gender or species, I think that's more a human thing. Sooo what does that make him? Like pansexual? Yeah I think so. Wiki it. It exists. Oh yeah. I know it does. Cause I rule. So yeah.

Something that's always annoyed me--why WHY is there like transformers, and Superman and Spiderman freaking EVERYWHERE, but hardly ever any Batman stuff?! WHY?! I mean, okay a part of me is really happy, because I bet Batman's secretly pleased that he hasn't been whored out like the others, but another part of me REALLY REALLY REALLY wants Batman shoes. In my size. Only they're never HERE!
