ANNOUNCEMENT(2012):

Hey all, this is ShadowRose18, probably best known for being the author of Journey of Mistakes (JoM).

Almost two years ago now, I stopped JoM, and writing in this fandom, due to personal reasons (aka life)

I promised to come back, once I dealt with real life and got through school, but at this point at time I can only tell you that I can't do that.

Writing itself helped me through those difficult times, and I have not given it up completely, but I have stopped writing for Charlie Bone (and Maximum Ride and City of Ember).

Whilst I still adore these books and re-read them when I can find the time, I no longer have inspiration or motivation to write fanfiction for them.

I'm really very, very sorry. I know I disappointed a lot of people with my decision back then, but I hope you know that it was never my intention to leave. I thought I would be writing Tancred/Emma until the day I died. No author starts a story without the intention of finishing it, please know that.

For those who enjoyed my stories, and still do (?), from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything so far, and I will not delete anything. I, for one, still occasionally come back to read old fanfics that I have loved. So please continue to read my stories, nothing could make me happier.

If it means anything, I still get all the new reviews that come to me through my email, and you have no idea how many times I have started grinning just randomly because of a review.

Unfortunately, I won't be publishing here any more, and I'm sorry to say, I'm very, very sure it's final. I won't write JoM or any other Charlie Bone (or Maximum Ride or City Of Ember) fanfics ever again.

I still write a little (you can find me at ) but because of life, I haven't really been writing much.

But, you know, I have a little dream deep down in me to become a published author one day, so look out for me ;) [but shhh don't tell my parents :D]

Thank you so, so much everyone, really. And I'm really sorry.

But please don't let my decision discourage you. Don't be afraid to publish your own story and do what you love and never, ever be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
