Hi. I'm 42 years old, female, and headstrong. I believe what the Buddha said: It's better to travel on alone than with a fool for company. My mother and my horse are still my best friends. I vote Democratic, flew the U.N. flag when George W. went to war, and am sick and tired of seeing dumb ignorance mistaken for morals in this country. I will not tolerate the intolerant and I do not care whether or not they tolerate me. I identify as asexual or queer, or just something "other."

In literature, I love crazy flights of imagination. My favorite book has always been LOTR and within that, I am deeply affected by Sam and Frodo. To me, they have an awesome and highly spiritual friendship that transcends all genres and as such you will never catch me writing them for any one particular audience. I believe they are there for everyone to enjoy as they see fit. Other favorites of mine are the Pern series and good sci fi in general.

In other media, my jaw is still on the floor at Peter Jackson's LOTR films... an incredible achievement. I am an anime junkie as well (thank you Netflix) and right now am pondering a novella starring Kane and Canal from "Lost Universe."
