Dear Reader:

Hi, my name is Evangeline. You can call me Eva. Some of you know me; the majority don't. I'm finally getting back into writing, after changing my style more than once and fighting with my self loathing and inferiority complex. I don't really have much to put here yet, just that as soon as I have enough words stockpiled here, I'm going to work on being a beta reader.

But speaking of beta readers, major, major props to my beta, Kayla. I just met her these past few months in my freshman government class, and we're already the best of friends. She keeps me in line when I get overly excited or jaded, and I enjoy pushing her to write all the time (though I'm going to guess I annoy her at times with my constant "Want Kaylawriting!" XD). She's currently going over "You Are Subject 12" for me, so there might be some changes to that soon.

Also, a major difference from before: I'm going to try my hardest to keep my OCs out of my submitted work here. There is a time and place for OCs, and I like trying to create OCs that are fun and original who aren't Mary Sues. But that's more for myself (and my friends) than for anybody else, and it rather takes the challenge out of sticking to the canon storyline if I just introduce OCs all the time! I do create OCs and I write fanfics with them, and that's not going to change, so don't worry, friends of mine who know characters like Anne, Gwen, Miranda or Emily. They still exist, and are definitely still being written. In fact Emily's story is still planned to go up here, since she's not interacting directly with the main cast of her book; same with a character I've been working on in isolation named Aurora. Both Emily and Aurora take place in already existing universes, but not on the same timeline as the canon characters.
