I'm not really new to fanfiction, but back when I was really into it (late nineties to mid naughts: The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and His Dark Materials fandoms) I never had the confidence to post them. Then, my cat peed in my laptop and all my beautiful Mary Sues were lost forever. Since then-- not because of that, mind you-- I've grown a spine, a thicker skin, and even learned some really handy tips about general creative writing that makes me enjoy it more. I regret that I'm not as prolific as before, but not enough to, er, get prolific.

Hmph. Too much angst in my stuff. (Uploads an avatar that suggests a spontaneous, sunny disposition.) That stays there until I can type up something cracktastic and fluffy. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy reading my fics as much as I like writing them, all feedback appreciated.
