I'm me. What more do you need to know?

If you're still curious, I love reading, writing, words, books, editing... you get the picture. I also fence - for more info on modern fencing, visit US Fencing Association. I'm a geek and proud of it, an actor and Shakespeare fanatic, and a determinedly unusual person. I haunt the Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce, Anne McCaffrey and Pellinor fandoms, but I also have a special fondness for fairy tales – so much of the work there is of high quality and great originality. I use British spellings because I like them, and random humour is encouraged.

News: I won NaNo! …But that doesn't mean I'm done writing. I estimate I still have 40k to go 'till the story is over (more if the characters insist). Oh, yes, and the really big news is that I finally figured out how to hyperlink! ;) Edit 1-22-09: I've joined a writer's group, which is wonderful, and I'm working on

~ A Harry Potter story co-written with a friend! We're thinking about a Lily/Scorpius humour genfic.

~ A multi-chapter story about Daine and Numair - plot details forthcoming. Yes, I actually have a plot!

~ A series of humourous Harry Potter oneshots – I haven’t decided if they’re going to be drabbles or vignettes. Keep your digital ears open.

~ Perhaps a story about Evvy (from the Circle verse) if I ever find a beta who has read/listened to Melting Stones. If you're interested, please drop me a line or two!
