Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. I'm a bookworm with a passion for travelling and nature. I love camping, hiking, wild swimming, and going places off the beaten track. My stories... "The Divide": Juliet and Jennifer Belstone are twin girls, but catastrophically for them, only one of them is born a witch. When Juliet is forced to go to Hogwarts and leave her sister behind, they are determined to find a source of magical power and transform Jennifer into a witch. Could the discovery of an old legend about the beginnings of the wizarding world hold the key? The girls set off on an epic and dangerous journey that takes them far beyond Britain to places of ancient magic in the Middle East. The story begins in 2018, so Juliet is at Hogwarts with Hugo Weasley-Granger and the Scamander twins. "The Otter and the Hare" is a one-shot about Hermione and Luna becoming Animagi together after the war. (I love the idea of Animagi and if I could choose one magical power this would be it!) I love all reviews and find them very motivating. Any constructive criticism is welcome to help me improve, but just checking in to say you are reading is always very nice, too. I am open to review trades, so PM me if you fancy sharing feedback. Recommendations corner! Jess Pallas' "For Want of Silken Thread" - read if you are also a Lupin fan. It is so well-written and suspenseful. I have found a few amusing poems recently: Hexterior's "Snape" cracked me up, as did two poems by InkandPaper, "The Ballad of Odo" and"Hoggy, Warty Hogwarts". Hexterior's Dahl-esque one-shot "Teacups are the Nemesis of Small Furry Animals": a story derived from one tiny event in HBP: the Prime Minister's teacup which Cornelius Fudge turned into a gerbil! If you like Minerva McGonagall and want to find out more about her past then look no further than Swooping Evil's "What defines us is how well we rise after falling", a long series of one-shots covering McGonagall's whole life. "Harry Potter and the Troublesome Transfiguration" by mdauben is high on the list of my favourite favourites! If you enjoy Animagus stories, read it. Harry gets stuck in Animagus form. It's very funny and sweet. "Flowers Never Bend With The Rainfall" by i love music is a lovely story about Draco and Astoria and a handful of utterly hilarious and adorable kids. I will add more now and again. |
