About V: Date 4/1/2009

Considering that I’m not in the mood to do Calculus at this moment, I decided I’m going to revamp my profile.

Again, still super glad that my name starts with V.

I have a plethora of siblings, and I love them all –sometimes-

My birthday is in August of ’91, just like Near, Yay! I’m a little older than him though…Do the math, or if you’re a severe Near fan, you already know :)

I am often struck by plot bunnies, and have them written along the sides of my notebooks because of it. This makes it a little difficult to find a specific one but…meh.

Likes: the obvious, manga, books, currently in a super-strong resurgence for Harry Potter. Favorite Anime/manga are Neon Genesis, Death Note, and xxxholic. (I’m seeing a pattern here…)

Dislikes: Guinea Pigs, being short, not having enough hours in the day.

Random #1: I am an insane music fan. I grew up with the strangest tastes I know, influenced by all the adults in my life, country here, techno there, eighties rock here, Jimmy Buffet there….and lets not forget the major names of our generation. I owned N’sync and Backstreet Boys, I admit it. Hell, let’s throw in Britney Spears –although that was more my sister, but hey I listened-

Random #2: Let's see, I am relatively crazy or "out there" as my mother would like to put it. One of her favorite things to say about me is "What is your malfunction?" so I think I may be a robot, or at the very least a government experiment. I hope.

Random Note Here: I believe that playing a video game with a book is cheating. If you've already beaten said game and are getting all the extras you missed, that is fine. Get your master sword or whatever. But playing it from the start with a book? Come on! I also dislike going for help if you get stuck but sometimes, it's unavoidable. Like one time I was playing Zelda: Wind Waker and was at the end, before chain of battles start, and there are these two room to either side of you. One holds a transport to the surface (you're underground) and the other is a big black hole in the center of the room. You're supposed to JUMP into said hole, yet throughout the game falling into holes is a bad thing. Can I tell you how angry I was when my friend told me to jump into the hole. Then I beat the game in half hour.

Manga/Anime I own: Death Note, Fruits Basket, Hana-kimi, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Boy Princess, One thousand and One nights (love that one, need to find more), Platinum Garden, Her Majesty's Dog, and a few volumes of Gravitation too, I think. I have a knack for picking up yaoi before I realize it’ is yaoi, not that I'm complaining or anything, but sometimes I'm like "I picked up another one!" (The ones that aren't labeled with huge stickers that is). My sister did that once (when she was in sixth grade) "Is this guy? Kissing another one?" "No! That's the twin sister! Don't be stupid! Uh...go find Camp Keep Your Mouth Shut, I'll tell mom you went to the bathroom." (a.k.a. Camp Confidential) I also have a knack for picking up titles that die on me ex: Kanpai! and Honey Mustard

Manga/Anime I love: D.N. Angel, Death Note, Cain Saga, Godchild, Angel Sanctuary, Boys Over Flowers, Loveless, yaoi (pretty much anything I can get my hands on), and everything I own.

Story Section: I figure if I put them here, enough people will spur me to move on with them. (There is a not so subtle HINT hidden in there) Just kidding, I just hope it’ll help me focus.

The question Raito-kun, is not whether or not I will die, it is merely when. Why? Because Raito-kun, I am already dying either way. L/Raito. This will be a severe sci-fi fic , and if I ever decide to write a mpreg, it’ll be with this one here. I’ve written quite a bit, but I’m not so sure… (Ugh...this first chapter will be reworked, I leave it up here to make me look at my awesome post-its guiltily...they whisper and say "Write the good ideas already!")

Detached Memories: Death Note: In-Progress

In the cycle of death and rebirth two people have been given a second chance...but when old memories resurface, will the ending be different? Or will the same pattern repeat itself? L/Raito. This is my baby, my first, and will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s almost done in my head, but it’s rather stuck on the paper. I will finish though, and then attack it with a fine toothed (razor sharp) spell-check.

The Colors I See: Death Note: Complete

Near looked down at his skin, his white unmarred skin. He was unscathed at least physically. L was dead. Matt was dead. Mello was dead. Kira was dead; he was the only one left, the only one left with the corrupted world on his hands. Actually, not quite sure where this came from, but I love it just the same. Dark. Maybe a prequel for it someday, the meeting of Matt and Near I would like to write…but no sequel. Nope. Matt/Mello/Near non-graphic

Watari's thoughts on L and events from long ago, concerns and snowflakes fall together. This was a simple bug that attacked during history class, I think, and grew and grew and this was born. I love Watari. Love this L also. Mention of L/Raito.

Opportunity Cost: Harry Potter

Definition: the value of the next best alternative whenever one makes a choice. Harry and Draco, the same yet different. Both are faced with a choice, and both choose to be irrevocably bound to the other. Harry/Draco and other pairings. Epilogue of DH compliant. Sorta. Well it doesn’t ignore it…just a little different. This is my next baby, isn't it adorable?

Cracking the Egg: Harry Potter

Ever wonder why Harry just goes happy-go-lucky at epilogue? Well this is gonna be one of those where did the years go? fics. Journey of the hero in here, with the whole unable to return to the ordinary world right away. James Evans (cliché, yes, but it fits, darn it!) is working with Charlie in Romania (no relationship) and he is sent along with the wards specialist to find the elusive millennia egg. In my head, mapped out into trilogy. First part long, second short (and very sad…very, so very sad…) third, happy again, maybe. Will be DH epilogue compliant. Explains second part maybe…? Slow Dancing in a Burning Room: Death Note

Very loosely based around song of same name by John Mayer. L/Raito. Assassins, intrigue, detectives, lies, and coffee shops. Fate and free will fight onstage between two who never should have met, yet now that they have, are inexplicably drawn to one another. I wrote this because of the song, thought of a hey, what if there was a movie like this? And then, what if Raito or L watched it? And so came about story. Used parts of it for detail grade in creative writing last year. Raito/Ryuuzaki (L)

MU: Death Note

This….this is going to like…dark. Grotesque dark. As title suggests, Raito is in Mu, but that’s not all! L, upon the eventual death of Near, is ‘awoken’ from heaven by Fayte and told that Matt, Mello and Near are all trapped souls inside Mu, and therefore have the ability to be freed. L decides to go, and the first person he finds is a broken, battered, and either speechless or blind (not so sure which one would have more impact) Raito. Yet another Raito is running the labyrinth, intent on punishing L’s Raito. Seriously like…lotsa blood and stuff. Nightmarish. Probably gonna have to watch some decent horror film to get some more ideas. Raito/L

L, a famous obscure songwriter finds talent hidden and they coax him into going after what he’s always deprived himself of. Sayu gonna be a bit mean in this one, methinks. Fayte’s Playthings: Death Note/Spiral: Title Pending

Finally came up with an outline, everybody! I’m only going to use the characters I know, mostly the anime. Because I really don’t feel like waiting around for the rest of the series… Kiyotaka goes off on his skewered sense of justice, and Raito stays at home with his. L in England, so is Eyes. Not much of a description, but hey, I wanna keep you guys thinking.

Story of my Life: Harry Potter: Title Pending

Fred and George confront Harry in third year; before they donate Harry the Marauder’s Map. Know that Harry is treated even worse than he lets on, and offer him a way out. Share information about other…abused children, minus names of course. Not sexual, at least not at this age. I don’t think, anyway. Gred and Forge aren’t stupid.

What Memory has promised us: Fushigi Yugi: Title Pending

Does anyone even read this anymore? shrugs I dunno. But I’ve had this sitting on he backburner for a really long time and I do want to develop it, so there. If you’ve read the books, up to end of first arc. Like volume thirteen, and end of the anime. Tamahome is reborn and promised to Miaka, but one day as he returns home, he stumbles across none other than Nakago. As the other celestial warriors come out of the woodwork, and as pasts are revealed, what will he choose?

The Art of Forgetting: Pokemon: Title Pending

Before I say anything, this story is like…old. Like I got into fight with little brother about Ash and his rivals, and he said Gary sucked. I countered with “Heh, if he sucks so much, why is he the only one (rival) in a movie?” and my little brother said “Prove it!” with a pointy finger and everything. So I went and found the first movie with mewtwo vs. mew and proved him wrong. As a side effect, became addicted once more. Watched it like four times. Then went and found Mewto returns, watched that also.

Now description: Ash, upon seeing mew at the end of the first movie, desperately tries to remember what he’s forgotten, resulting in a memory gain of those memories, but starts to lose the ones before it. Misty and Tracy bring him back to Pallet Town after the Orange Islands arc, and instead of just ‘off to Johto’ Ash’s mother realizes what happening to her boy (it’s pretty prominent by then) and pinpoints it to a letter that Ash sent her about traveling to a tournament on New Island. Gary is charged with bringing him there, because Misty and Brock can’t. then onto Mewtwo returns, this time with Gary. And adult themes. Yep…adult themes…but they’re all older, because technically, Ash already has his eight badges at the start of movie one. So hell, he’s not ten. Oh and if there is anyone who knows like everything and wants to help out, I’ll listen.
