Name: Jason

Category: Penguins of Madagascar

Species: Asian Small-clawed Otter

Physical appearance: He looks similar to Marlene, except he has male physical attributes. Also, instead of white, the fur on his face and chest is a light shade of gray. His hands are also gray, similar to Marlene's right foot.

Eye color: Green

Personality: Easygoing, friendly, and fun-loving. Also known to make jokes and wisecracks occasionally.

Backstory: He was born at the Brookfield Zoo, and grew up there, having a normal life. He was one of the more popular exhibits, due to his tendency to do martial arts moves and acrobatic feats considered unusual even by otter standards (unknown to the zookeepers, this was due to his habit of imitating what he saw on TV, and later adding his own personal touches), until the zoo got a cockatoo that could actually hold a rational conversation, something considered even more unusual. However, he held no ill will towards the bird, instead wishing him the best of luck. At some point in his life, he met Lani, an otter brought in from the Minnesota Zoo, who would become the love of his life, and later his girlfriend. Later on, he got sent to the Bronx Zoo, much to his chagrin, ending up at the Central Park Zoo soon afterwards.

Species: Asian Small-clawed Otter

Physical appearance: She also looks similar to Marlene. However, instead of white, the fur on her face and chest has a soft creamy yellow color. Unlike Marlene and Jason, she has none of that color on her hands or feet.

Eye color: Blue

Personality: Sweet and friendly, but extremely aggressive for a short time if provoked. She's as smart as Kowalski, but she doesn't brag about it as much as he does.

Backstory: She was born at the Minnesota Zoo, growing up in there and having the life of a regular otter. One day, however, she came upon a book that was left in there (she doesn't know how it got there to begin with), and began to look at it. After watching it for a while, she learned how to read, and, by extention, she learned everything there was to see in the book. Some time after that, she was sent to the Brookfield Zoo, the reason for such an event being unknown to her. Upon arrival, she met Jason, another Asian otter. As they got to know each other, she taught him how to read, while he taught her his personal moves. During these teachings, she couldn't help but fall in love with the male, which later resulted in them officially becoming a couple. After he got sent away, she stayed calm, hopeful that they would see each other again.
