Hello all.

My first year of university had flown by like a supersonic fighter yet. It went by so quick you could barely see it but the noise it makes are like the memories and the friends that linger after the jet has long gone.

I'm obviously very poor at sounding poetic and profound.

So, what do say? My favourite anime has to be Neon Genesis Evangelion and I've also just recently seen the first Rebuild of Evangelion film, 'Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone'. I've also read the Love Hina manga which was highly enjoyable and full of laughs. Also, I'm a big fan of the works of Makoto Shinkai. If you haven't heard of him, then you should watch '5 Centimeters Per Second' and 'A Place Promised In Our Early Days'. The animation is incredible in both of them, '5 Centimeters Per Second' especially and they both have brilliantly captivating and emotional stories. I'm now also a fan of most things Miyazaki. That be 'Spirited Away', 'Howl's Moving Castle' and 'Princess Mononoke'.

My other hobbies include playing guitar, writing music and drawing, some of which is of the anime/manga-style variety. I'm also fairly good at wasting my time on the Playstation 3.
