My name's Lauren, and I write fanfiction both as a hobby and to improve my fiction-writing skills.

Age: 25

Favorite fandoms: Kingdom Hearts, The World Ends with You, Dangan Ronpa, and a multitude of other things that I like but probably won't write fanfiction for.

Favorite pairings: AkuRoku, AkuSai, Lea/Isa, Aqua/Terra, and, from The World Ends with You and KH3D, Joshua/Neku. Most of the fics I'll post here will revolve around one or more of those pairings.
I also like Zemyx, but mostly for the cute, and also for the playing around with the personality clashes when the two interact.

Location: The middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania, United States.

I'm continually working on my writing skills, so if you have any suggestions/advice, please don't hesitate to give it, honestly.

Yet another one of my early fanfics, starting out as merely a drabble exploring Axel's point-of-view.
Someone said that I should write further entries to this, and I've thought about it, but...I'm not really sure how I'd write them yet. After I wrote the third entry, I considered it finished. TheAngelofFate was right in that it's a fic that COULD be continued, based on canon, and I'm sincerely sorry that I haven't yet done so. I just haven't put enough thought into it yet. If I can focus on the idea long enough to come up with something interesting, I'll write more of it.

Axel's Gift

My first Christmas-themed fanfic, in which I displayed a reckless disregard for holiday cheer. In other words, it's depressing. ._.
I do like the Bond of Flame keychain origin story I came up with for it, I nearly wish it were canon.
Also, possibly the most awkward gift-giving scenario in AkuRoku fanfiction existence, unintended subtext and all. :p

Ahhh...for some time I thought this to be my best fanfiction yet. Looking back on it now...there are some things I would change about its writing. Like Axel's preachiness, and the unnecessary British slang.
Look at me, I'm improving as a writer! : D
*ahem* Anyway, I suppose it IS one of my better fanfics, especially in terms of character interaction. Some things still bug me about it, though, like me writing about a city I've never visited and things I've never experienced for myself...I may revise it at some point, but I'm not sure when or if I will. :/
As for the story that I said this was an off-shoot of...I don't know if I'll finish/post that, either. Again: Me writing about things I don't really know about = Not the best idea.

This was a fic written for a competition on a LiveJournal community for really short KH fanfiction stories, but wasn't entered because I couldn't get it short enough. (I'm just that much of a blabbermouth... xD;)
It's partly based on my own experiences growing up in a rural area in the United States, and a little on myself back then (pretty much Roxas' whole personality ').
Will I continue it? I'm not really sure. The premise is interesting to me, and I certainly don't have a shortage of personal living-in-the-country anecdotes to source from...but, again, like Axel's Journal, I've gotta put some thought and focus onto it first. I can be a real scatterbrain when it comes to fanfiction writing, heh. :P

This one was fun. ;) I wrote it simply for the art of it, and the love of the song it's based on.
It's one of those rare fanfiction stories that aren't pairing driven, which I suspect is the reason for its non-popularity...
I DID have a pairing in mind for the fantasy, but it's kind of a crack-y one to be honest...
(NOPE, the guy isn't Riku. Think...Final Fantasy. xD;)

This fic is actually semi-embarrassing to me; not because of quality concerns, but because it just feels so intimate to me. The fact that I came up with it in bed doesn't help. (Though, a lot of my fanfiction stories have been thought up that way...)
But, I loved how it turned out anyway, so I edited it and posted it. The fans seem to love it, so I'm happy with my decision.
Oh, yeah, and this is the first fanfic I've written where I actually alluded to Axel and Roxas having sex! : D

Originally, this was a venting fic like whoa. But, like what can sometimes happen with things like this, I got carried away with it, and ended up having a lot of fun writing it and loving the result.
It also was supposed to be yet another one-shot, but after UbiquitousOranges' review, "Will there be more?" I wondered if there SHOULD be more. I would like to write for this storyline again, and there are things yet to be explored, plot and character interaction-wise, so I may very well write another chapter of this sometime this year.
I'm still not sure if I should change the whole Roxas-name-origin story thing or not, though. :/ I apologize if anyone was put-off/offended by that whole thing. I didn't really know what I was doing there... ._.'

Well, this is my former KH Big Bang challenge project. After some controversy, and me deciding that I probably wouldn't be able to finish it in time, I withdrew this fic from the challenge. I will be working on this fic continually, and posting it on a chapter-by-chapter basis. I finally wrote a multi-chapter! : D
What I can say about it for now, until the first chapter is posted: It is a Saix/Axel, a real-world AU with supernatural/fantasy elements, and is more-or-less a modern-day, twisted fairy tale. Oh, and it's a romantic comedy, of sorts.
And characters from The World Ends with You will appear.
I have enlisted the help of a beta reader, so you won't be subjected to my un-beta-read writing anymore! : D
I plan on getting the first chapter edited and posted sometime soon. I'm excited about this story, and I hope you all will like it, too. :)
