I am a female student from Melbourne, Australia who is frequently dreaming of a cottage in Finland. My life seems to be defined by the fact that I have too many things to do, and not enough time to do it in.

Amazingly, I have only (six years ago) read Harry Potter and have found myself taken with Severus Snape. It still amazes me how one character, fictional though he may be, can alter and expand my own understandings of this world we live in. A complex character, his possibilites are truly endless, and I hope as a part of the Harry Potter fandom, we never stop exploring them.

I also love movies, my favourite being Star Wars. I also enjoy: Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Amazing Grace, Jane Austen movies, anything starring deep-voiced men, self-sacraficing characters or with meaningful plots. Naturally, I love all of the Disney movies, which are frequently quoted in my day-to-day life.

AND: I LOVE MUSIC.

Books, Music and Movies allow me to escape reality, and FanFiction has now become my new sancutary. Never before had I realized there might be a name for such escapism, until I realized I'm a fully-fledged Escapist!

I have managed to gather enough courage and am in the process of writing my first story, BitterSweet. Thank you to everyone out there who has been kind enough to review my stories: it is your reviews which are a light in my other wise dark life. Thank you :)

I am happy to announce that I have published the first chapter in BitterSweet for a very long time. It's taken longer than I dreamed to finish another chapter, and I am so happy and excited for the fact that I am back on the 'band-wagon'.
