I spent hours thinking about this profil and what I should write about myself. I still don't really know what to write. Well.. I think I could start with some general information about myself: my name is Carrie and I'm 22 years old... at least til August 21rst, then I'll be 23 ;) I live in Austria (that's the small country "under" Germany) and therefore my mother tongue is German. In 4th grade they started to teach me English, which is why I like to think that I am relatively fluent in that language.

My first experience with fanfictions goes back a few years. I think I was 9 or 10 years old and the only stories I read were in German and about the X-Files. For a few years the X-Files-FFs were the only FFs I read. When I was 17 or something I started to realise that there are stories for more TV shows than just the X-Files. That was also when I started to read the stories in English, instead of in German. First there was Alias, then LOST, House, Stargate SG1, Bones, Cold Case, CSI, etc etc... I started to rewatch every good TV show there ever was and with them the according fanfictions.

I have to admit that I was always more a reader than a writer. I did have a few ideas for stories, but as impatient as I am, I never finished my stories. The two stories, that I did indeed finish and that I also liked (a bit... I'm never satisfied with my own work), I have posted here. Lately I kinda have that nervous tingle in my fingers, that makes me wanna write a story, but because I know, that I probably wouldn't finish it and that I most certainly wouldn't like it, I have yet to start a new story.

But well.. let's not loose hope, right ;D
