![]() Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, and Naruto. Age: 18 The biggest thing anyone should know about me is that I'm terrible at updating. Really, really terrible. I'm talking months people. I'm sorry to all readers. Whoah! A Memoir! I got into Fanfiction.net a few years ago. I spent a long time reading, as had been my passion long before finding this site. What basically made me start writing was an annoyance with stories on here. (I have a lot of annoyances.) After a while, the voice in my head told me "If you want something on here, WRITE IT." (My head voice is rather pushy.) Voila! I became a writer. Discoveries I've Made Being a FF Author People who take the time to review are admirable: Even though I know the thrill each review brings to an author, I am awful at remembering to leave reviews of stories I like. Reviewers are a special kind of people! Flamers are annoying: I welcome constructive criticism. It helps me to evaluate my writing. Well thought-out critiques are great. Who I don't understand are the people who basically say "This story sucked" or "I didn't like this part. It should've been different." Um, ok? Thanks for wasting both mine and your time. And, if you didn't like something, tell me why. Constructive criticism people! Loyalty is noticed: There are those people who take the time to review every chapter, who follow me from story to story, and just generally make my day better. Fun reviews are great: Those reviews that are filled with bubbles and rainbows and unicorns and smiles? All that shit? They serve as really strong plaster to stick a smile on my face. Fantastic. Every little bit counts: Reviews excite me most solely because they let me see the reader's opinion. Commentary helps create a personal connection between story, reader, and author. That being said, every other aspect of liking a story gives me the tizzles. (Made up word to express utter happiness. I envision it as a cross between cotton candy and looking out the window of an airplane in midair. It's really open to interpretation.) Every alert, every 'favorite,' every hit is awesome. You know what else is awesome? You. You are awesome for taking the time to read this. Thank you!!! |
