It's August of 1985, and the minds of young scientists are being encouraged with an opportunity to accompany their parents to experience a day inside the walls of Aperture's underground facilities for Take Your Daughter to Work Day. Unbeknownst to them, their science fair projects aren't the only thing being constructed.

Forty years after Wheatley is banished to the lonely abyss of space, he makes an unexpected return, finding himself at the mercy of an elderly farmer who mistakes him for salvageable scrap metal. But when the beaten-up old bot is taken into the farmer's home, he finds himself faced with the desire to seek out an old acquaintance to make things right. Oneshot.

Chell had been released to the surface, and GLaDOS misses the high-quality Science that resulted from test subjects' free will. She reopens an old and unfinished Aperture project hoping to solve the problem. After all, without the threat of true, agonizing death, is it even Science? Oneshot.

Wheatley makes his way back to Aperture to apologize to Chell, but encounters a collected but internally furious GLaDOS. He wants to go to the surface? Not on Her watch. At least, not before he's had his just desserts. Angry!WheatDOS with lots of kinks.

Chell and Wheatley come across an artifact from Aperture's glory days: a test baby. Wheatley's damaged resource database mistakes it for a real human child and makes him want to take care of it. Chell however, isn't nearly as enthusiastic.
