1) A source of inspiration embellished upon to give a beautiful but deceptive outward appearance. A thought or creative idea covered in a thin layer of gold as to make look more attractive and pleasing than actually is.

2) Archaic. A poet smeared with blood.

I am a horrible, horrible person who writes about men (and sometimes boys) get it on with other man (and sometimes boys). I feel no remorse or shame for posting stories that's only collective redeeming quality is that someone may read them and, inspired by the lack of actual plot, be forced to write something with more content that straight out gay smut.

And I it like that way.
