Chip and Dale star as Federal Agents positioned in New York City in the late 1990s. After an attempted terrorist attack on the State Public Relations building, it forces them team together as they attempt to find the third and last suspect. A witness they secure along the way has answers but is taken before they could share. Resulting in a wild chase to recover the witness.

As the Rescue Rangers' attempt to foil another plot of Professor Nimnul they are struck by his latest invention the 'Tranforminator" which turns them from their animal state into humans. As they try to find someone to help them it leads to a wild journey to try and get back to their original form. It won't be easy, but a stranger they meet will help them stop Professor Nimnul.
