My current works are all about GATE: Jietai.

They all share the same basic scenario in which the Empire fell many centuries before the story, and is now replaced by a bunch of modern nation-states.

The premise is that, during their medieval age, Cato El Aldestan created a new religion, Deusism, similar to our own world religions, based on a metaphysical, abstract God that doesn't exist on the physical world and doesn't actually intervene on the world, and Rory, Giselle and some other Apostles decide to convert to this religion after some thoughts and reasoning, and turn against their old Masters, that are artificially stopping the continent from evolving further. The Apostles defeat the Gods, that either die or resign from their positions, thus permitting the Special Region to advance its culture, technology and magic through the centuries, until in their own version of 21st century, a Gate connects their world with something else.
