Author has written 9 stories for Peter Pan, Good Omens, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Hello all. I'm not really that great at writing profiles so please bear with me. =) --I didn't make my icon, _829service, a user on lj, did.-- Well, what to say... I'm a graduate student...I love writing, reading, and animals--I have several pets and a few plants at home. (I generally don't put the Fear of FoxxFire into them, but I COULD. If I wanted to. xD) I also love books. All books. And I have a special spot in my heart for old books. And vintage cars, actually; I own one. (Not a Bentley, sadly.) Hence the fact that I love Aziraphale and Crowley equally. lol. I write ff about the book "Good Omens" by Pratchett and Gaiman, which is my main fandom, and sometimes Ford and Arthur stories from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series creep in. TV shows wise, I like "House, MD" but I've yet to attempt to write clinically. o_0 I also stink at writing profiles. Other than that, be kind, I don't have a ton of fanfiction experience. I'm just gonna put up some quotes here. Why? Well, they do say that you can tell a lot about a person by the books they read so I imagine the same goes for the quotes they like. Heh. ~FoxxFire5 Quotes (Because I like them and because I can. XD) ~'?' he said.--Pratchett and Gaiman, in Good Omens. ~Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath! At night, the ice weasels come.--? ~Some of the best things in life are total mistakes.--From a movie ~"Watch out for that Pedestrian!"-Aziraphale "It's on the street, it knows the risks it's taking!"-Crowley--from Good Omens ~As for me, to love you alone, to make you happy, to do nothing which would contradict your wishes, this is my destiny and the meaning of my life.--Napoleon Bonaparte, to Josephine ~Sometimes he would scribble something on a sheet of paper by his side. It was covered in symbols only eight other people in the world would have been able to comprehend; two of them had won Nobel prizes, and one of the other six dribbled a lot and wasn't allowed anything sharp because of what he might do with it.--Aziraphale's mathematical skills in Good Omens. ~Something small pressed into the small of the guard's back. 'Drop your gun,' said Anathema, behind him, 'or I shall regret what I shall have to do next.' Well, it's true, she thought as she saw the man stiffen in terror. If he doesn't drop the gun he'll find out this is a stick, and I shall really regret having to be shot.--from Good Omens. "No, there is not a thin line between love and hate. There is, in fact, a Great Wall of China with armed sentries posted every twenty feet between love and hate."-Dr. House in House MD. |
