Important Update: Hello everyone! I would like to thank everyone that has read my stories and left a review for me. I love getting to hear from all of you. Back in August I was asked about how recently I would be updating, and unfortunately I will be updating even more irregularly than before. I'm currently in grad school. I am assigned three novels a week to read and write essays on and along with work and other social obligations my writing time is taking a hit. As most people know, I like to write and I'm currently in the process of writing several novels that I hope to get published one day! So I thought that I would post a piece of my work and then create a poll to gather people's opinions of my work. SO here it is!

This is a soon to be completed one-shot that I started a year ago, I didn't know where to go with it so I just kind of stopped, but I want to hear what others have to say about it.

Kagura X Sesshomaru Oneshot

A woman with black hair in a ponytail flew down to the castle grounds on a large feather. Landing safely, she dispelled the magic and briskly walked to where her master, Naraku, dwelled. Gently excusing herself the woman entered the room spying her malevolent master, his unmistakable mess of brown hair, red eyes, and his scent, identical to her own. She waited silently for Naraku to address her as to not endanger her own life, as it sat in the palm of his hand that very moment. A black orb with an equally dark swirling mist enveloping it, this device was the only thing that held her to him, the only reason she allowed him to wantonly throw her life away for his. Naraku’s disregard for her life had provoked her to commit treason against him, but he always saw through her plans, through her thoughts, an entity that consumed her with anguish.

“Kagura, what do you have to report?” Naraku inquired, snapping Kagura from her rage.

Her defiant garnet eyes met his piercing crimson ones. “Everything is going as you expected it to, Naraku, there’s nothing to report.” She clenched her fists. Admitting the prowess of the man whom she loathed only made her more aggravated with his presence.

“I don’t believe that I need to remind you of what such attitude will get you in your position, Kagura.” Naraku muttered as he began to clench his fist over the wispy black orb.

Kagura felt the sharp pain in her chest and crumpled to the floor gasping through the pain desperate for air. Through these attempts Kagura managed to hiss, “Damn you, Naraku.” After which she succumbed to the pain again.

“Don’t waste your breath; now go do as I asked.” Naraku ordered her, his eyes leering at her doubled over and suffering body, which at one point had been a part of him.

Kagura just glared at him. Naraku, tiring quickly of his minion’s defiance, blasted Kagura out of the room mixing air with miasma. Because of the attack Kagura was thrown back through the paper door and cut by the wood pieces. The stray pieces of wood slit her kimono and the landing gave her a broken arm, and many cuts plus bruises all over her body. For a moment she lay still assessing the damage done to her, but when the angered eyes of Naraku peered through the darkness at her she quickly grabbed one of her feathers and flew up and out of harm’s way.

Soaring above the land of the feudal era Kagura found that she couldn’t satisfy herself with the scenery as she was in too much pain. All that was on her mind was trying to find the safest place to land. Not really caring about what her master had ordered her to do, she went in the opposite direction of her supposed destination and took off towards the nearest woods. As she neared the ground she lost her control on the feather, courtesy of a pang in her broken arm, and was sent crashing to the forest floor. Gathering more cuts from brambles and tree branches she quickly covered for her arm making sure not to jostle it too much and landed face first in the dirt.

For hours she laid there, still as can be letting the sun drop from the center of the sky down to touch the mountain’s peak. Then, carefully and well practiced she got to her feet, not caring that her kimono had slipped off her shoulder, exposing more than what would be considered acceptable. She slowly made her way through the trees searching for shelter that would keep her safe for the night. Kagura wasn’t thrilled with the idea of sleeping outside for the night but knew that it was better than going back to Naraku, especially in the ragged state he’d put her in.

Just as she was about to give up on finding anything suitable for a shelter and collapsing wherever, she heard some voices beyond some trees. With her senses she was able to tell that they had a fire and food, even in her wrecked state she hoped to steal what little heat and food she could gain. Nimbly, and with new found energy she made her way to the small camp. It was in her line of sight now, and she could now hear their conversation.

“-But Sesshomaru-sama, why? You had the chance to kill Inuyasha, so why didn’t you finish him off? That annoying hanyou!” It was the goblin servant that was always trailing after the mighty dog demon, Sesshomaru. Testy, and as irksome as ever the little creature rattled off on his own, not realizing that those in the camp with him were barely listening to his rant.

His master, Sesshomaru, sat against the trunk of one of the trees that encircled their encampment. A small human child, Rin, was handing him something, which he looked over carefully and nodded at her. The little girl’s face lit up as she quickly took whatever it was over to the two headed demon and let both heads gobble up the substance.

Kagura watched intensely as Sesshomaru brushed a couple silver locks out of his face. The glittering embers of the fire reflected on its silky surface. Almost taken in by its beauty she snapped out of her trance, intent on finding someplace to rest. In her current condition she realized that she wouldn’t be able to get very far, and near a sadistic demon like Sesshomaru, was not someplace she wanted to be. Slowly she began to walk away from the party taking careful steps so that the demon’s keen hearing wouldn’t detect her movement. When the camp was almost out of sight and the only thing visible was Sesshomaru’s face. Kagura took one last step and heard a loud crunch come from beneath her. Next thing she knew she was falling. The canopy of trees above her, and the hard ground coming up behind her, it was too much for her weakened body. She blacked out.

Hot, why is it so hot? It was like someone was trying to cremate her alive. The unbearable heat felt like it was burning her skin with tongues from some flame. She was crying out for cold water or ice, anything that would end the spike in the temperature. That’s when she felt it, the sudden jolt of ice splashed over her body. Kagura’s eyes shot open as the chill set in.

Interests: role playing, dancing, anime, reading, music, writing, internet, writing stories, world history, street hockey, history in general! & badmitten. Now I like crime scene investigation stuff! (The other day I went in the same direction as cop cars to see if I could watch them arrest a criminal or if I could see them solve a murder mystery! OOOOOO! I'd love to see that!)

So, I have finally written a fanfic! I hope you like my newest (now pretty old fanfic) Living a Rockstar Life. I also hope that you enjoy my many songfics. Naruto, girl series of songfics are half way done! I now have a Ghost Hunt fanfic up! It's been really fun to write! I've recently uploaded a Cardcaptor Sakura fic as well as a DN Angel fic. I'm really excited to see how they turn out. My Naruto and Ghost Hunt fics have been put on hold because I've hit a bit of a writer's block with them. I will continue them when I've come up with some clever idea! Thanks for reading!
