Being a mom is awesome. In addition, I work part time, and I recently returned to college in order to earn my Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education. So … to say that my life is chaos at times (most of the time) is a bit of an understatement. I love reading and writing, but, unfortunately, my time for both is rather limited. Following her near marriage to Guy of Gisborne, Marian chooses to stay at Knighton with her father despite Robin’s protests. Her decision not only endangers her life but Allan’s as well since he is at Knighton when the Sheriff and Gisborne pay a visit. Meanwhile, Robin and the others are literally tied up at camp, captured by mercenaries sent by Prince John. Robin and the gang must not only figure out how to escape the mercenaries, but they must also figure out a way to rescue Marian, Sir Edward, and Allan from Nottingham. Pairings: Robin and Marian; Will and Djaq. Halfway Gone (Alice, 2009): When a mysterious affliction threatens Hatter’s sanity, Alice and Hatter must return to Wonderland in order to find answers. Through the Looking Glass, they discover that Wonderland has become a frozen wasteland. Meanwhile, they meet a strange young girl named Lily who says she’s been waiting for them. To save Hatter, Lily leads them to the ruins of a prison that alternatively served as an asylum and laboratory. Before the prison was destroyed by fire, the inmates there once served as lab rats for experimentations ordered by the Queen of Hearts in her quest to subjugate the people of Wonderland and gain infinite power. Alice and Hatter unearth the secrets of Hatter’s past just as they come to understand the new power behind the throne of Wonderland. Pairings: Alice and Hatter, Jack Heart and the Duchess.
