I've been around the fanfiction scene since probably around 2003 (damn, about half my life, now that I do the math), and I've even tried writing a few things in the past, I just could never get around to telling a cohesive story I liked.

I've had a wide and varied palette when it comes to fanfiction, though I've probably read more from Legend of Zelda or Dragon Ball Z than any other. Mostly, I care more about the quality of writing over the fandom a fic belongs to. Check out some of my favorites for really well-written stuff. (Though beware, a lot of it is stuff I enjoyed reading back in the day, so not all of it has fully aged well (Dragon Ball Super Z's random Japanese words), and a number may be painfully unfinished... looking at you, "The Mirror Tells All"...)
