Hello!

I have been calling writing a hobby of mine even though I have been suffering a Writer's Block and a paralyzing fear of publishing even my school essays for a decade. The situation had gotten so dire in my eyes that I finally snapped on New Year’s Eve and decided to create an account and do something. Maybe, I thought to myself, I should just get on with it and let someone else besides my SO see something else than just my thesis.

Part of this journey to recovery is a plan to not publish anything unless it is complete. That has been a problem to me (see Writer’s Block for reference) and an irritant to my long-suffering SO. I actually have a couple of long ones waiting to get their endings (and starts… and the middle parts…), and my New Year’s Promise is to get at least one of them into completion – preferably in readable English.

As you might have gathered from that, English is not my native language. This reads doubly true to my SO, whom I use as a beta reader in addition to Microsoft Word. I myself think I have slight dyslexia that I usually can work over in my native language, but in English some words manage to slide under the radar. As such, thank you beforehand on pointing out any errors that have sneaked past.
