I've recently found my way back to this site prompted by some properties old and new. My account exists for my writing, to favorite/watch things and hopefully post some reviews. I think I've become a better reviewer since posting my own stories.

I experimented with posting on ArchiveOfOurOwn (AO3) ONLY for new fics under this username. However, I discovered the formatting got removed on some of my fics/chapters--months after I posted them! Thus, I will also post them here when when I have time so there may be a lag. I prefer communicating through AO3 comments better, but will still respond through DMs here.

My first goal in writing is always telling the story but my second goal is becoming a better writer. I really appreciate the time taken by some to help me with these goals.

Writing-wise, I get inspired by pairings I want to read more, reviews (aren't we all?), silly theories, and the occasional challenge to make something work. I try to read over and catch mistakes but I could probably use a beta. I apologize for the sporadic updates, real life and all.

My GI Joe focus is on 80s related work. For fan fiction, I like the cartoon because it's goofier and I think it's more open because there's less source. Bits and references from other sources tend to creep in though. (Yet strangely, Undo is my favorite piece I've written.)

As of December 2007, I am no longer doing beta duties for ScarlettSlipper. I've been having trouble getting her to appropriately credit this fact, having to ask five times before it was finally changed on one of her stories, so there may be some other mis-attributed stories floating around out there.
