Just got back in the habit of writing, and am enjoying all the fanfiction, especially Wicked, and Firefly. I've only seen four or five of the Firefly episodes, but I found it intriguing.

Currently I'm trying to manage the line between my quirky side that wants to write and dwell in the land of romantic comedy...and my ever so slightly more serious side at the moment that has bouts of angst. I've determined that I'll have to write as the mood suits me any given day, so perhaps I need more than one story going at a time. So...I'm dipping into my rather smallish well of seriousness at the moment, but reserve the right to return to my quirky side whenever!

I am so not a 'broadway musical' kinda gal, but I didn't grow up around it, what can I say. But my last girlfriend did take me to see Rent in NYC, and it was fabulous. So perhaps there is hope for me yet.
I also managed to catch it in Atlanta a couple years later. But that pretty much covers it. Other than Blue Man Group in Las Vegas, though I'm not sure if that counts, but it sure was a fun spectacle to watch!

Well, much to my dismay...I did not win the lottery, so I did not get to fly to London to see Idina Menzel as Elphaba...I would have loved to have seen that. Alas.

I have been remiss in keeping up with updating, but I do hope to remedy that soon!

Apparently I like to write when there is bad weather outside...so... I suspect the summer storms we're getting now, and the fall will bring on many chapters in quick succession!

Another tidbit - I got inspired to start writing the somewhat darker, shall we say, sequel as I was listening to Patty Griffin. She has a couple of fantastic songs that combined with the fall weather, got me to writin'. Notably, 'Rain', and 'Every Little Bit'. They're not Broadway, that is for sure, but great songs.
