Time for that annual update - a lot's changed in the past year since I made a resolution to start posting some of my work and ideas onto fanfiction. I've been touched by the interest in some of the stories, despite most of them being on story boards with not a lot of activity.

The big news I have for the largest group of folks still following my Firefly story, Round Peg in a Square Hole, is that though I've been running into a lot of stress with the real world, never fear! Once I get past a particularly rough hump over the next two weeks, the latest chapter will be published around the end of March. I have several chapters in that story outlined, I just don't have the time to write them at the moment.

In the mean time, despite the fact that I promised myself I'd wait until AFTER I finished the last two chapters of my current SMASH story, I'll be posting a second one because I'm obsessing over it right now and it'll be easy to post a new chapter each week. I have five chapters currently written, more than enough to tide any readers over until April (I just have to do minor grammar and edits before I post them).

After those current stories get finished, I will focus my attention back to Star Trek Enterprise and a second story either focused on Firefly or Thor/Avengers or Primeval, I haven't decided (if I'm crazy, maybe I'll attempt all three, hahaha).

If anyone is interested in beta-ing my stories, feel free to ping me and we can discuss if 1) your editing skills are = than my own writing ability and 2) if your ideas and thoughts about story plots align with my own.

About Me:

At the moment, I have designs to publish some stories in these specific books/shows/manga:

Digimon (I have a couple Junpei ideas...I wasn't too happy with how they developed his character, although some of my ideas are equally ridiculous, so I probably shouldn't complain)

Star Trek (already attempting and quite possibly failing to integrate Austen with ST: Enterprise...)

Shaman King (I had an interesting twist off of an episode with Manta)

Firefly (ahhh, Simon/Jayne and Simon/Mal shipping...)

Harry Potter (a couple ideas taken partially from fanfics written and long since deleted or left abandoned on this site, not sure if they'll ever come to fruition but we'll see.)

Primeval (TBD, but involving connor whump...poor connor, lol.)

Think that's it for now - try not to beat up on my ideas/stories too much, y'all hear? My poor writer's heart is sensitive to rude or non-constructive criticism.
