Woah, it's been a hot minute since I've been active around these parts. Jeez, I haven't updated my about section since I first made it. What say I change that, eh?

About Me

Hi, I'm Metylizer, but I'm known to my friends as either Met, Mety, or Enso. It's been quite awhile since I've written fanfic, but with the help of a few friends I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things with my newest three fics, one of which was simply off the top of my head. I live in the suburbs of the great Windy City of Chicago, Illinois, and I really don't know currently what I'm gonna do with myself. I usually hang out on Discord with my friends, and there are a few video games I enjoy (though nothing multiplayer), but music is probably my biggest hobby besides writing stories. I enjoy metal above all else, and I always will, but I'm slowly branching out into other genres to expand my palate.

Current Projects/Agenda

Working Title - DND; this is a mostly original project that takes place in my universe. Characters you will probably be introduced to in other stories will all be in this one, and they face off against possibly their greatest challenge to date.

Working Title - Ma'at: Yet again another original project, though in a universe less expansive than my current one. This is set in Ancient Egypt, though dragons are commonplace among humans. Four such dragons go on a mission of betrayal, heartbreak, and action to defeat their foes.

Tales to Astonish: God, it's been awhile, hasn't it? I plan to fully reboot this story at some point, and close some of the plot holes and develop characters better; who knows? I may even remove some of them altogether, since bigger casts aren't really my thing. And not only that, you may even get a better, more concrete ending! I look forward to working on this again, as it's been a life-changing experience, and quite literally too.

Truly A New Beginning: I'm still wondering what the hell I'm gonna do with this story, but it's too interesting to just leave it as a simple one-shot. I will continue it at some point, but with several options being presented to me, I'm having trouble making up my mind. Oh well, might as well shelf it for now.

Working Title - Hot to Trot: Ah, good ol' smut. I've barely started on this, and probably won't release it for quite awhile, but it'll center around our two favorite heroes of the Legend of Spyro trilogy.

Original Characters

I have quite the cast of original characters, some of which you've already met, some of which you've only heard about, and some of which I've never even mentioned. Here are a few of the characters that'll be in some of my newer projects:

Enso: You've already met Enso in FWiMW, or at least a past version of him. I've changed him a lot since I first created him, and in future stories he'll be more outgoing and confident on the outside.

Juviel: Like Enso, her story has been changed around quite a few times; she was originally even going to be purple! Now, everyone knows her as the crimson-scaled chef with an attitude, which you'll see when I start work on newer projects.

Kayda: This is one character you've never seen before. She's the level-headed wyverness that always seems to have a plan for everything, her intellect being nearly unmatched by most.

Angeles: This dragon actually isn't my character; he was created by my boyfriend. He's altruistic and kind-hearted, but he can kick someone's ass if need be. You'll definitely see him in later works of mine.

Pyra: Ah, momma Pyra. She's a character I feel I didn't give nearly enough development to in TtA, and I regret that greatly; I'll rectify this in my later works.

The most sweetest guy on the planet

I've had the pleasure of entertaining people for almost two years now. Not even a year in, however, I met the most caring, loving, sweetest guy I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He hasn't posted anything himself, but he's been with me since the beginnings of TtA. When he messaged me requesting a songfic, I had no idea my life was about to change. After four months, we confessed our love, and we celebrated our first anniversary on April 24th. I'm truly happy with him, and the happiest I've been in my life, despite the tough times.
