Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. 10-19-19: I have found an amazing new app that can translate my handwriting in cursive into text with astounding accuracy. It has very much reduced the typing needed for an update, since I am now skipping the pen-to-paper step for a stylus-to-screen step that goes right into the text editor. 09-19-18: I changed jobs, and have more money but less time. Not as good a trade-off as I hoped, but at least the CEO is not stomping around asking someone on the phone if the company was broke over and over. 05-20-18: I am employed once more, and the new commute gives time to scribble a few lines each day. Maybe something will happen soon in the story. 03-28-18 : The recent momentum in updates is solely due to the fact I've been unemployed for the past half year. It does give more time for writing. Although the return to the larger pad does help too. Read and review. 12-20-17: An interesting phenomena: I write the same number of inches, paltry though they are, at a sitting, regardless of the size of the notebook. The recent change to a 6"x9" pad from a 5"x7" pad yields more words per sitting. Would that continue if I switched to an 8.5"x11"? Could an entire chapter be completed in one go if there was a 480"x2" pad? 07-15-17: A new chapter is posted. Short, but available. 01-09-17: The chapters for 'He Does Write' have been had more proof-reading done, and footnotes are added for translations. The updated chapters have been uploaded. 06-27-16: Progress is still being made. Writing opportunities are still restricted, but I have discovered that my typing speed nearly doubles if the tablet keyboard is split. My rate goes from about 6 words per minute to almost 11 words per minute. 02-01-16: I'd just like to report that I am still plugging away. Sadly, time for writing has decreased to a single two hour block, and I am very slow. |
