It picks up right after Abby and Bobby leave Buck's hospital room to get some coffee.

Abby gets insecure and Buck comes to the rescue.

Buck couldn't get the thought of the baby out of his mind. He couldn't believe someone would put their newborn down a drain. Somehow, he ends up at the NICU, with Abby. So, begins their story - as a family.

Rayna Jaymes did not die in S5. Instead, she was forced to fake her own death by Wayne Hockney.
