When Adrien wakes up to find it's been a month since Hawkmoth saved Paris from Ladybug and Chat Noir, he's horrified. Without the ring he's not a hero, but he'll try to be if it means finding Ladybug, stealing the Miraculous, and fixing Paris...and Marinette. However, he finds he's not the only one awake, and who knows who can be trusted in this upside world? Rated T just in case.

[WIP] Cat Noir had enough of seeing his Lady risk being hurt at each akuma attack. So he decided to think of improving things and he enlists the help of Marinette. From there begins a hunt on how to end it all, with a few bumps on the road.

With Chat Noir now working for Hawk Moth, Marinette must learn why and bring him back to her side...or defeat them both. To make matters worse, university will soon start and she's moving in with a roommate: A.A. Whoever that is. Crockpot burn. Touch of marichat; ultimately adrienette - COMPLETE

Everybody deals differently with the consequences of Hawkmoth's defeat. The day after, Ladybug eagerly awaits her silly kitty, finally ready to hand him her heart and start a new chapter of their story. The day after, Adrien Agreste shuts the whole world out, ashamed of his father's action. Five years later, can anything really be salvaged out of the remnants of their relationship?

After a bombshell discovery, Marinette finds herself re-evaluating everything she thought she knew. Tensions begin to flare with accusations and misunderstandings, growing worse until they threaten to rip Paris' favourite dynamic duo apart. Once again, good communication fails to save the day.
