With the loss of his lucky bottle cap and some bad news given to him, Sam is tempted to drink again. This is set in season one sometime between 1x10 when his bottle cap is lost and the season finale.

Sam and Diane get in a fight and don't speak for the rest of her shift. That is until something terrible happens to Diane. Set in season five when they're back together.

Set after Cheers ended, except Diane never left. Sam and Diane have been married for about seven years. They have two kids, Ernie and Elizabeth. In this, Elizabeth wakes up from a nightmare and Sam is the one to calm her down.

Diane leaves Boston when she's given the opportunity of a lifetime to achieve her dream of being a published author. After being there for a day, she finds herself lonely and calls the one person she trusts more than anything, Sam. They come together and discuss the future of their relationship.
