Summary: Abigail has bitten off more than she can chew when she finally meets up with Adam Cartwright.

Joe had returned from his harrowing experience through the desert. Upon first appearance all seems normal as Joe seems to be wanting to dive right back into life at the ranch. Things are not however as they seem. Out of seven people only three made it back. The law will soon discover that the dead did not die naturally. What secrets are Joe and the others holding on to?

Introducing a little sister for the Cartwrights. She will be related to characters from other Westerns and have some famous Godfathers, but they will rarely be in the story. It will be necessary to show her life before she moves to the Ponderosa. Warning, spanking of minor children in some chapters. Trolls will be dealt with by the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

This is the eighth of the To Everything series. This story concentrates on the Cartwright children. Adam and Shiloh have their hands full with their work, but they'll find quickly that growing children take time and patience and…that priorities change. Headstrong and used to getting her own way, she tags along on a trip to deliver the Pauite Wabuska to Fort Churchill. Along the way, the group runs into a dark-haired drifter with laughing blue eyes who eventually becomes more than a stranger passing in the night. *Multi-chapter*
