 Author has written 21 stories for Bonanza, and Trapper John, M.D.. I started writing fan fiction as a challenge. I'm a Senior Software Engineer at DXC Technology and part of my job is to write technical documents - designs, documentation and white papers. When I complained about how dry the writing was, someone at the office suggested that I try fiction. So I did. I've been writing since 2009, and I enjoy it. It's very cathartic for me and takes my ever-whirling mind off my work. I use it as an escape. Other than working with computers, I love most outdoor activities; camping, hiking, gardening, horseback riding, bike riding, kayaking and geocaching. I live near the Lake Tahoe area, so I'm up there quite a bit. It makes a big difference in my writing when I can actually see the places I'm writing about. I'm a bit of a history buff as well, and the area has lots of history, so I get to incorporate a good bit of it into my stories. |
