Kisdota: Okay so with the release of RWBY volume 2 we're all going to assume that this fic takes place between volume 1 and 2.

"Alright let's see, diluted fire dust, discount bargain bin dust crystals shards, one dark blue crystal… not really sure what that does," Ruby said. She and her weapon Crescent Rose were purchasing as much cheap dust as she could to share with the other weapons, "Hey is taste going to be an issue?"

"I don't think so… let me see," Crescent Rose said picking up the dark blue crystal and giving it a lick, "mmm… not bad," he said.

"Okay, we'll take it all," Ruby said.

"Uh, yes of course," the cashier said, confused to why a person would need to lick a dust crystal.

"Woo, we got a lot," Ruby said, "So we're meeting up for lunch soon you think- ow, watch it," she said to the two weapons trying to get her shopping bag of dust.

"You two behave we'll eat soon," Crescent Rose told the two of them; they instantly listened to him and settled down.

"I'm gonna call the others see where they want to meet up," Ruby said taking out her scroll.

"Hello?" Weiss answered.

"Hey Weiss, how's it going?" Ruby asked her.

"Well… fine I suppose," Weiss said.

"Myrtenaster doing okay?" Ruby asked her.

"We're having a bit of a… communication issue I suppose," Weiss answered

"Hey, listen I just found out that the weapons can eat dust. I got a bunch of cheap dust for us to share with them all," Ruby said.

"They… eat dust?" Weiss questioned.

"Yeah it's like food for them, so I figured we can all get together as a team and weapon, with another team with weapons, and have lunch. Maybe that'll bring us all closer together or something," Ruby said.

"I suppose I'm not against that, truth be told I could use some help getting closer to Myrtenaster," Weiss said.

"Awesome! Where do you wanna meet for lunch?" Ruby asked.

"We're not eating at Wac'Donalds," Weiss told her.

"Oh come on," Ruby whinned.

"Do you know what goes into the burgers? I am not eating that, and neither are you," Weiss told her.

"Then get the salad," Ruby argued.

"Their vegetation is not that much better do you know what they use to keep the greens fresh? We're eating at a regular diner," Weiss told her.

"I'm just going to get a burger there and it's just going to be more expensive for me, we're not all made of money," Ruby told her.

"I'll pay for half, just tell everyone to meet at the 94 diner," Weiss told her.

"What? They take forever," Ruby said.

"They take forever because they actually make the food with edible acceptable ingredients, and they have even less of a chance infecting one of us with a kidney disease," Weiss told her.

"Fiiiinnnee," Ruby groaned in annoyance.

"Good," Weiss said hanging up.

"These people take forever, why couldn't we go to WacDonalds?" Nora asked them.

"That's what I said," Ruby agreed with her.

Everyone met up at the 94 Diner, a small yet well known place down near the docks of Vale. Gathering together were both teams and their weapons and somehow Crocea Mors with Miló and Akoúo. The group of 18 had to bunch together some tables into one long super table.

"This is getting ridiculous," Weiss groaned, "Do the weapons even need to eat?"

"No let them eat with us, that's why I got all this," Ruby said placing the bag on the table, the two Stormflower twins started scooting their booster seats closer to Ruby inch by inch.

"They eat Dust?" Yang questioned.

"Apparently," Ruby said taking out a blue crystal.

"Ooh, thank you," Crescent Rose said taking Ruby's gift and biting the tip.

*MUNCH* The bite sounded like glass breaking.

"Whoa… that's pretty awesome," Yang said.

"Let me try it next!" Nora asked.

"Nora no!" Ren told her.

"Mnngh," Pyrrha groaned, as soon as she took a seat she looked like she wanted to fall asleep. Yang sitting next to her easily noticed this.

"You doing alright their Cereal box?" Yang questioned her.

"I'll live," Pyrrha weakly said, "Nora's was… a little more energetic than I thought she would be. I don't know how Ren is able to keep up with her so easily."

"Well for one thing he takes charge of her," Yang said, "Why were you following Nora around?"

"I suppose that ffter hearing what my weapons thought of me I thought I'd try and learn how to loosen up and be more fun for them. Then I decided to get tips from Nora," she explained.

"I'm guessing you didn't get what you were hoping for?" Yang questioned.

"Well I learned that I always need to ride people from her," Pyrrha said.

"Whoa… damn I didn't know she was like that," Yang said.

"No I mean literally ride people," Pyrrha corrected her.

"Oh… not as fun," Yang said, "And you really think your weapons will like you if you learn to cut back?"

"I'm hoping, I'd like to at least talk to them before they go back to normal," Pyrrha said.

"Yeah I can't help but notice they took the farthest seat away from you, why are they wearing paper cups like hats?" Yang asked her.

"It's a disguise," Pyrrha told her.

"That's sad," Yang told her, "Maybe I should start tutoring you instead? I mean my weapon is just loving me, I feel like a mother with her. Bet I'd be a better parent than mine, I mean growing up my dad was so strict. Curfew, Homework before fun, and I'm still mad at him for not letting go out with that Fauna's guy."

"Your father wouldn't let you date a Faunas?" Pyrrha questioned worried.

"It wasn't a race thing he was just older than me, plus dad knew I just wanted a free meal from him," Yang told her, "Ooh this gives me an idea… you free tomorrow night?"

"Yeah… why?" Pyrrha questioned.

"I'm taking over Nora's lessons, tomorrow we're gonna hit the night life you and me and Ember obviously, maybe Nora, and we'll show you how to have a good time," Yang told her.

"Um… when you say good time-?" Pyrrha asked.

"Nothing sexual," Yang told her.

"Right sorry," Pyrrha quickly said.

"No I get it, my dad's been on my case about my appearance," Yang told her.

"What exactly would we be doing?" Pyrrha questioned.

"You ever been to a rave?" Yang asked her.

"A rave? You mean a social club place?" Pyrrha asked.

"Okay first off don't ever call it a 'social club' secondly yes," Yang said.

"Thank you Yang but… I don't know if I want your lessons," Pyrrha told her.

"That's fine, keep learning from Nora. Maybe she'll give you hands on experience on disarming a bomb. Nothing says fun like disarming an explosive device at ground zero," Yang told her.

"I doubt she'd try… well I doubt she'd find a bomb at least," Pyrrha told her.

"ACHOO!"

*BOOOOOOOOOMMM* Out or nowhere the area was suddenly filled with a blue mist. The area was suddenly flooded with people screaming and panicking. Eventually the smoke cleared away, everyone and everything seemed to still be in place.

"NORA!" Pyrrha yelled.

"Wha-? That wasn't me!?" Nora cried out.

"Was that a bomb!? The heck was that!?" Jaune questioned.

"Take a wild guess," Weiss said angrily dusting her dress off.

They all looked over to where Ruby was, she was holding the blue crystal that Crescent rose was eating a few seconds ago. The crystal now looked like a small rock, having been whittled down into a rough shape.

"Sorry," Ruby said, "I wanted to see if it tasted good and some dust came off and… I sneezed."

"Wow… three times in a row," Yang said impressed.

"Why would you taste that?" Weiss asked annoyed and angrily.

"Crescent rose likes it, and so did the other weapons. I was curious," she said guilty.

"Oh my god- they're weapons!" Weiss told her.

"She gets to try it? Why can't I try it to?" Nora complained.

"Uh guys," Jaune called out, "Just out of curiosity, what does dark blue dust do? It's not poisonous or anything is it?"

"Flanjar flanjar!" Magnhild asked worried.

"Oh relax you dolt. There's no such thing as poison dust, and dark blue dust is spirit dust and it's pretty useless dust. It doesn't affect humans at all it can only affects Faunas," Weiss said.

"Uhhh," Ruby and Yang's eyes ticked a bit at that. Blakes eyes opened wide along with Gambol Shroud who both dropped their books.

"Oh… OOH!" Weiss said in realization.

"What would happen if a Faunas got hit with this stuff?" Nora asked.

"That's a VERY good question Nora, Weiss you wanna tell us the answer right now?" Yang asked her.

"Well… okay first off it isn't fatal in any way," Weiss explained worried

"Oh thank goodness," Ruby quietly said in relief.

"You all know how Faunas and Human DNA differ by two to six percent, depending on the Faunas?" Weiss asked them all, specifically Blake.

"Yes," Blake quickly said.

"Well… dark blue dust affects that specific percentage by… aggravating it in a way. It makes Faunas more animalistic," Weiss said.

"What do you mean animalistic?" Ruby asked.

"It depends on the Faunas," Weiss said.

"Give. An. Example," Blake said holding back her anger.

"Well… lets say a cat Faunas gets hit with this stuff. They'd start reacting to the inner instincts of a cat," Weiss told them.

"Cat instincts?" Jaune questioned.

"Things a… cat would do on a normal basis and things a cat would react to. In some cases it alters certain parts of a Fauna's body as well," Weiss said.

"When does it start working?" Yang asked her.

"I don't know it varies," Weiss said.

"I'm suddenly not feeling hungry, I'm going home early," Blake told them all closing the book in her hand and walking off.

"I suppose I should be off as well… ta-ta," Gambol Shroud said following behind her.

"Wait Blake! What about your fish sandwich?" Jaune called to her.

"Ta-ta? Who says that?" Yang asked herself.

"You think she spotted us?" Akoúo questioned from the other side of the table.

"Not likely, we're wearing the perfect disguises," Miló said.

"That you actually think those count as disguises is what annoys me the most," Crocea Mors said. She was sitting across from the two who were wearing paper cups on their heads using them to disguise themselves from Pyrrha (or what they hoped).

"She hasn't said a thing to us yet," Miló told her.

"That's because she knows you'll just run away when she does," Crocea Mors told the two, "You should really stop being afraid of her and consider talking to her, poor girls taking fun lessons from that Nora person. I've been around a long time and even I've never seen a girl like her with so much energy."

"So she's suffering? That's good," Akoúo said with hope.

"Now it seems like you want her to suffer," Crocea Mors said.

"Suffer in the way she made us suffer," Miló agreed.

"She didn't make you suffer," Crocea Mors told them, "Lord, after everything that woman goes through, all the rare kindness she gives, and her own weapons won't even give her the time of day."

"Day's have names, not times," Miló told her.

"You-… hey…," Crocea Mors had a sudden thought in her head, "You two know what a scam is?"

"Is it that thing you get on your knee when you scrape it?" Akoúo asked her.

"Sure it is," Crocea Mors simply agreed, "How would you like… hiding lessons?"

"Hiding lessons?" Miló questioned.

"I might not look it, I think, but I'm over 300 years old. I can show you tricks to blend into your surroundings. You could stand next to and talk to Pyrrha all you wanted and she'd never know the difference or even see you."

"We could move anywhere and she'd never find us? Even if we talk to her?" Akoúo repeated with hope.

"Especially if you talk to her, and have conversations with her" Crocea Mors told him.

"And she won't be able to find us in the closet?" Miló asked.

"What? You can stand next to her why would… sure yes why not," Crocea Mors said.

"Then teach us wise Cracker More," Miló declared, "We wish to finally be free of our fears."

"Crocea Mors, and sure," Crocea Mors said, "I think this is going to be the start of a fun relationship… oh wow… is this what it feels like to trick people for gain?"

"Probably," Akoúo said.

"Hm… I probably didn't need to even lie to you did I?"

After leaving behind her friends Blake headed straight for the airship hoping to get home before anything could happen to her. She couldn't tell if it was her being nervous or this blue dust effecting her but she was starting to feel a bit off in a way.

"Are you certain you don't want to stay behind Blake?" Gambol Shroud asked her.

"I'm sure," Blake said, "After what happened the last time I was involved in a dust explosion I don't want to risk anything else."

"Wait… I was what happened in the last dust explosion," Gambol Shroud said.

"Let's go," Blake quickly ordered him heading for the airship bus back to Beacon.

"Yo!" Blake cringed a bit when she heard the familiar voice suddenly calling for her. Looking to her left in the alleyway between two stores was Sun the Faunas.

"Oh, it's him," Gambol Shroud said seeing Sun. He could recognize the same Faunas Blake met back during her and Weiss's feud.

"Hey Blake, how's it going?" Sun greeted her.

"What did you do?" Blake asked him immediately.

"W-what? What are you talking about?" Sun questioned.

"I'm walking through the streets and you walk out of an Alleyway? I can only assume you would wait in one just so you can wait for the heat to die down after once again just taking whatever you wanted," Blake summarized.

"Well that's a little unfair, you already assume I'm up to no good. That hurts Blake," Sun told her.

"That clutch of banana's still have a price sticker on them," Gambol Shroud said pointing to the fruit he was holding in his hand.

"Wh- aw crap," Sun quickly peeled off any evidence leftover, "Okay so maybe I took a bit of lunch, give me a break."

"Ah… Blake was right in assuming you always take anything in front of you," Gambol Shroud said.

"Not all the time, who's the mummy guy?" Sun asked.

"I am Gam-Ga-Gary. My name is Gary Should," Gambol Shroud said.

"Gary Should?" Sun questioned suspicious of Gambol.

"My parents were… bad parents when they named me," Gambol Shroud explained, Blake glared at him for making such a weak explanation.

"Uh huh," Sun didn't believe anything this guy said, "So… Gary, you and Blake friends or something?" he asked eyeing him and her.

"Ah yes of course, I've been with Blake ever since she could wield a weapon when she was 13," Gambol Shroud explained.

"Uh, yes we've been friends that long," Blake agreed with him.

"I didn't see him when all your friends were looking for you," Sun told her.

"What? I was right there in the-school studying! Right I was not there at all I was studying… schools," Gambol quickly corrected himself.

"Studying schools? Is he really one of your friends?" Sun questioned even more suspicious than before.

"Of course I am, I'm a very good friend of Blake's! I plan to stay by Blake's side for the rest of her life," Gambol Shroud announced.

Blake cringed at what Gambol Shroud said Sun suddenly felt threatened dropping the banana's he had with him.

"Is… that so?" Sun questioned a bit shocked.

"Okay this has been fun but I have to go," Blake said grabbing Gambol Shroud and rushing off with him.

"Whoa, wait Blake," Sun called to her. He reached out putting his hand on her shoulder.

"HISSSS!"

"WHOA!" Sun retracted his hand back when Blake let out a loud threatening hiss at him."Did… you just hiss at me?"

"What? No I… uh-oh," Blake realized what happened, "I need to go, now," she ran off again.

"Blake," Sun tried to call out to her again, but he hesitated and she was able to get away, "sigh… women."

"Ugh what a day," Weiss said tiredly as everyone returned to their dorms. It was well into the evening hours, both groups minus Blake and Gambol stepped off the Airship ready to return home to their dorm rooms.

"BLAAARGH!" Jaune cried out with his head dunked in the nearest trashcan. Pyrrha was behind him patting him on the back.

"The harbinger of destruction," Yang joked with Crocea Mors, "Still think he's going to bring about the end of the world?" she asked.

"At the least, I think he might declare revenge on all Airships and try to take them down," Crocea Mors said.

"We can do that!?" Ember Celica questioned, turning back to the ship and punching the side of it, "Yeah revenge for Jaune!... does it fight back?" she asked while still punching the ship.

"Though despite his looks I'm still going to be wary of his actions," Crocea Mors said ignoring Ember Celica, "Its always the ones you least suspect."

"Well by that logic shouldn't you be suspecting Nora then?" Yang asked.

"Yeah! Take that ship!" Nora cheered punching the ship with Ember Celica, "That's what you get for flying in unstable conditions with my leader!"

"Rebredga!" Magnhild yelled punching the ship with Nora.

"I spent the whole day with Ember looking for thugs to fight and she still wants more, what a fire cracker," Yang commented, "So does Nora count as the apocalypse?"

"She's a bit weird, but I doubt she'll cause a disruption in the world," Crocea Mors said.

"Nora! What have I said?" Ren questioned her.

"You never said not to hit modes of transporta- no wait… awww you did," Nora said glumly stopping and dragging her feet to her partner.

"Whoo, fun day," Ruby said, "Got to spend time with my weapon, learned new things about a weapon's diet, I hope Blakes doing okay."

"She'll be fine," Weiss said, " More importantly, we really need to start working on our skills in fighting now that we have a handicap."

"You need someone taken care of?" Ember Celica questioned punching the air.

"Handicap not Knee caps," Yang told her weapon.

"What handicap?" Ruby questioned

"Have you both forgotten that while our weapons are alive we are unable to use ours?" Weiss asked them both.

"Ruby has full permission to use me in any way she sees fit," Crescent Rose said.

"Not you you perverted buffoon, the other weapons, your bodies," Weiss told him.

"Why am I perverted?" Crescent Rose asked.

"Oh right… kinda gonna need my weapon with me tomorrow night," Yang said checking her wrist. Extending both her arms weapon the left Ember Celica formed slowly, while the right on jammed, "I guess I'll make time to try a few things."

"We need to figure out a way to effectively fight with our weapons, I will not look like a fool during combat practice," Weiss said.

"I'm sorry miss Weiss," Myrtenaster said.

"No apologizing," she told her.

"Alright then, tomorrow morning it's weapon practice," Ruby said.

"ugh, morning, can't it be the afternoon?" Yang groaned.

"Yang! This is serious!" Weiss scolded her.

"Fine Ice princess, I'll get up bright and early," Yang said.

"Good," Weiss said.

The group reached their dorm room, Weiss took out her scroll and waved it in front of the door opening it. Walking inside she stopped immediately at the strange sight.

"What the-?" Weiss questioned, looking inside their room looked like it had just been through a tornado. The beds were messy and even shredded, the walls looked like they had been scratched, and part of the carpet were pulled out.

"What happened!?" Ruby questioned.

"MY POSTER!" Yang cried, the Archive Men Poster she hung in the room was torn to pieces.

"Hello everyone," Gambol Shroud said sitting in the corner of the room.

"Gambol? What happened? What did you do to this place!?" Ruby questioned him.

"It wasn't me, as soon as we got home Blake started acting strange scratching everything she could and jumping around the room. I tried to see if there was something wrong with her, but each time I asked her she said she was okay," Gambol Shroud explained.

"You didn't do anything?" Weiss questioned.

"I learned that when a woman wants to be alone it's best to leave them alone," Gambol Shroud said, "I'm so glad I finally figured out basic reading."

"Congratulations! Where is she!?" Weiss asked harshly looking at how messed up the room was.

"Under the bed," Gambol Shroud said.

Weiss was already on her knees and angrily looked underneath the bed.

"Blake you-AH!" Weiss immediately shot back up, her face red.

"Hello," they all heard a weak and soft voice from underneath

"What happened?" Yang questioned curiously and looked under the bed as well, "Oh… hey there."

"Blake! Why did tear up the room!? And WHY are you not wearing anything!?" Weiss questioned.

"What!?" Ruby dropped everything she was carrying and lightly blushed herself.

"I don't know," Blake answered, "I just… I just feel like witling down my nails and… everything I put on is so itchy now I'm always sweating."

"She sure is," Yang said not getting up.

"Oh Monty it's starting to take effect," Weis complained, "The spirit dust is already taking over, its made you overly sensitive."

Blake stuck her head out from under the bed, "This is what you meant by instinct?"

"I suppose I should have expanded on what I meant by instinct, right now the animal side of you is being amplified. You're more cat than human now," Weiss told her.

"I am NOT an animal," Blake glared at her.

"I know you're not, but you're going to start acting more like one with time until the dust wears off," Weiss said, "As if we didn't have enough problems."

"How long will I be like this?" Blake asked her.

"Well let's see… given the amount that Ruby sneezed off," Weiss emphasized while staring at Ruby.

"I said I was sorry okay," Ruby argued.

"I'd say about a two or three days," Weiss said.

"Two days!?" Blake questioned.

"Aw it'll be okay Blake," Yang said patting her friend on the head, "It's just for a little while, we know you're a lot more than just some… are you purring?"

"Wha- NO!" Blake slapped Yang's hand away from her head quickly after realizing she was making a purring sound. The feeling of Yang's rough yet soft and warm hand felt so tantalizing to her for some reason, "I am NOT an animal."

"We know!" Weiss yelled.

"Let's talk to professor Ozpin then, maybe he knows a way to get all this out of your system faster… maybe you should put some clothes on," Ruby said.

Kisdota: College is back on for me and I am tired of it already. But I can do it.

Also I saw the video on Dust from RWBY I know that the dust seems to be elemental based but let's all just ignore that fact.
