A/N: River here! Sorry this update is mildly short and sorry it took so long to upload! My co-writers an I have had a lot on our plates lately so the stories have kind of taken a back seat for now. But, I figured you deserved an update for being so patient. It's not much, really just another filler chapter until I can get the other two to pull their heads out of their asses and help me (kidding, I love those idiots). Enjoy this wee update! :)

Disclaimer: Nothing of the Lost Girl variety is in my possession oops...

Bo shivered slightly at the sudden change in temperature as she stepped from the warmth of the Dal into the chilling night air of the alley. She expected to have to chase Tamsin down and catch her before she could speed off but, to her immense relief, she found the blonde sitting on the ground with her back pressed against the cold brick wall, her legs pulled up towards her body and her elbows resting lazily across her knees. The light of the Dal's lantern shone on her face, casting shadows across her skin and accentuating each and every sharp contour of her incredible, European bone structure.

"Stalking me now, huh?" the Valkyrie muttered, eyes glued to the ground. Bo crossed the alley and slid down to sit beside the detective, hugging her knees to her chest and never taking her eyes off of the enticing woman.

"No. Just not giving up as easily as you want me to," the brunette said, determination clear in her words. "Think what you want, but you are much more to me than a 'quick fuck', Tamsin. I actually enjoy being around you. You're different. You're strong and witty and quick and undoubtedly beautiful and I-"

"Oh please, Bo! Give it a rest already, would you?" Tamsin huffed out an exasperated laugh and turned to face the frustrated succubus. Her face was empty, unreadable, and cold.

"No, Tamsin, I won't. Because I know you aren't as detached as you want people to think. I can see it in your eyes, I can feel it when we're together. I may be a baby in this world and I may be inexperienced when it comes to the fae but romance and emotions and knowing when someone is lying to me about their feelings is something I am good at," Bo pushed.

"Bo, I am not someone you want to be around! I'm not someone you want to get involved with! I'm cold, I don't know anything about feelings or emotions or romance or any of that shit and I've only ever ruined the best things I've had… I just - I don't want you to think that there can something more to us than there is because I can't, Bo."

"You don't know that, though. You haven't even tried yet, Tamsin! Please, just stop fighting something that could be amazing! Do this because it scares you. I know that I'm not the only one feeling something here. I can read your aura, Valkyrie - I know you're into it just as much as I am and-"

She was interrupted by a pair of soft, sweet lips catching her own. Chills ran up her spine as Tamsin's hand grazed up her arm and reached her cheek, pulling their faces closer. She slid her own hand across the blonde's toned stomach and held her waist gently. Tamsin's lips moved slowly and sensually against hers. The kiss was warm and delicate, similar to the first kiss they'd shared at Dyson's loft. It ended all too soon when Tamsin pulled back, leaving her forehead to rest against Bo's, not dropping her hand from the brunette's cheek.

Bo felt the air leave her lungs at the intensity and sincerity that had guided the kiss as she sat there, her hand still holding Tamsin's waist, her forehead pressed lightly to the Valkyrie's. For once in her life, she was speechless.

Rather than reacting with words, the succubus positioned herself closer to the blonde, maneuvering around to kneel in front of her before pulling her to her feet. She gazed into Tamsin's enchanting eyes, trailing the back of her fingers down the side of the other woman's face before leaning into her, pressing their bodies together and connecting their lips again.

She gently leaned Tamsin against the brick wall, coiling her arms around the Valkyrie's neck while the detective encircled Bo's waist with her own arms. Bo sighed into their kiss, content. She had never felt so safe with anyone before than she did right there, in the alley, wrapped in Tamsin's arms. She hadn't a doubt in her mind that this was where she was meant to be.

The two remained like that, making out in the dingy alleyway like two lovestruck teenagers. After a while of this, Tamsin pulled away smirking, not letting go of the brunette still trapped in her embrace.

"I should get to going. I, unlike some people, have to work tomorrow," she said quietly, grinning down at Bo who simply bit her lip playfully and stretched her neck up for another passion filled kiss. Tamsin pulled away again, chuckling. She gently nudged the baby fae off of herself and placed a gentle kiss to her forehead, her hands resting carefully on Bo's shoulders.

"Goodnight, succulette," she whispered, her breath dancing over the brunette's skin, sending a wave of chills through her body. As Tamsin turned to walk away, Bo grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. She planted another quick, longing lip-lock on the blonde.

"Stay with me tonight," Bo said lowly once their lips parted.

"Bo…" Tamsin began to object.

"Tamsin, come on. Kenzi will be out with the guys tonight and I promise the minute she gets home, she'll be going to sleep," Bo pleaded, holding the back of Tamsin's neck with both of her hands and staring up at her with her biggest puppy-dog eyes.

The blonde sighed in frustration but kept a slight smirk on her features as she placed her hands on either side of Bo's waist. "Fine," she said, "but no keeping me up all night, I mean it! I really do have to go to work tomorrow." Bo smiled widely and bounced up to kiss the Valkyrie once again. Tamsin rolled her eyes as the brunette slipped her hand into her own and the two began their way to Tamsin's truck.

"Oh, wait! Let me go tell Kenzi I'm leaving; I'm her ride so she needs to go with either Dyson or Hale," Bo said quickly. "I'll be right back and don't go running off on me again, blondie! I mean it!" She pushed forwards and pressed a brief kiss to her lips before rushing back into the Dal.

Once inside, she scanned the bar for her petite best friend. It didn't take long, seeing as no sooner had she walked in the door, she was tackled by the plucky Russian and dragged into the empty lounge by her wrists.

"Sooooo," Kenzi said expectantly. "What did you and detective hot pants talk about, hmm?"

Bo looked down bashfully as she felt a goofy grin making its way across her face. Kenzi noticed the blush creeping up her friends neck and began jumping up and down.

"Ohhhh, I knew you liked her! I knew it, I knew it!" Kenzi squealed.

"Okay, shhh, Kenz! Geez, do you want the whole pub to know I'm taking her home with me tonight?" Bo said with a sly wink at which point Kenzi's jaw hit the floor.

"Oh. My. Gosh. You go, Bo-licious! Do I need to stay out tonight?"

"No, just...take your time getting home," the brunette replied with an insinuating smirk.

"Okay, um, ew. But whatever you need sistah, say no more!"

"Thanks Kenzi, you're the best, you know that?" Bo smiled and placed a quick smooch to her bestie's cheek before rushing back out the door in search of her tall, blonde, Valkyrie.

Her eyes fell promptly to the spot where she had left Tamsin standing and she felt her heart drop to her toes. Her face fell as she realized the blonde was no longer in the alley. Thinking she could already be in the truck, Bo bounded to the place where Tamsin usually parked but was crushed to find the truck missing. The Valkyrie was gone and had left her behind yet again.

A/N: I know, I know, I'm sorry. I suck with my cliffhangers. I'll get past that eventually (probably not). Hope you guys enjoyed! Also, some of you have been asking about my other two stories, Little Games and Every Inch and I promise I haven't given up on them, I've just run into a smidgen of writer's block on both. Plus, I graduate in less than two weeks so things have been rather hectic!

Thanks to all of you who have kept up with this story, I really enjoy writing it for you!
